My friend and I just experience the most blatant example of racism in th store I have ever experienced. While out for a drive to explore the Virginia countryside we stopped at this store for a snack and to gas up our car. The two clerks at you deli turned their backs on my friend and ignored her while greeting and assisting two white patrons who arrived after her. My friend even changed her position thinking the clerks might not have seen her. The continued to ignor her. My friend finally picked up and attempted to pay for a $2 bag of chips, only to have the clerk attempt to give he $1.25 as change for a $10 bill. Both of us are furious. I live near the store so I frequently stop in for gas, which is competitively priced. Their "deli" makes decent sandwiches and their fried chicken is usually very good. They do have a restroom, that has never been a problem to use, although another reviewer seemed to think otherwise. It is a store in the country, so the staff is local and generally friendly. My only complaint is their new "car wash" is a joke. Tried it once and I'll use a water hose at home before I will ever use the car wash again. The gas pumps are very busy (they have 6) and sometimes the congestion to get in and out of the store is pretty difficult. read more

Great craft beer selection...best I've ever seen at a place that sells gas by miles.good convenience store food.great layout and vendor choices. Effeciantly staffed. Not run like it was when the bad reviews were posted but still has just one public restroom. A lot of older convenience store facilities have septic issues around here but this is an awesomely managed site. read more

HORRIBLE place. People were extremely rude. Do not try to use the restroom here, they say they don't have one. The restroom is only for employee use. It did not matter that I had a child, and made a polite request. Three employees were quite verbal in telling me in no uncertain terms that there were no restrooms. read more
