Today, I went in for a haircut only to discover that this place (609 Blackhawk Blvd) is now a candy store. I don't know if the barbershop moved or closed down, but I'm sad that I wasn't able to get a good old fashioned hair cut. I happened to pass another shop that might be a suitable replacement between Portland and Merrill on 4th Street in Beloit. I didn't catch the name as I went buy, but it's a black building on the east side of the road.

Really great atmosphere and they give a great haircut. Actually ask how you would like your haircut…read moreand recommend certain styles. The decor is old school and homey. Recommend for all ages. Really hard to get an appointment though and is cash only those are the only cons. But it's worth it.
