It was quiet and we couldn't hear anyone in neighboring rooms. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. We had a standard king room on the second floor. Check-in was easy and our front door overlooked the pool. I don't think the pool was open when we were there because it was still chilly outside. It was a great experience, but frankly it was just a bummer that it felt like the entire space was geared towards gay men rather than queer PEOPLE as a whole. As a queer woman, I just wish it had felt like I was represented too, but it's okay cause not every space is for me! I also don't know if it's the norm, but the bar was pretty empty for a Saturday night which just didn't give the vibe for dancing I was hoping for. All the staff were so kind and helpful. Then came the door staff. The attitude was completely unnecessary. If you're going to charge a cover, at least be professional about it. I was initially told the wrong cover amount, and when I asked about an ATM since they only take cash, I was basically told to go find one down the street. In 2026, we're still cash-only for cover charges? Be serious. After finally getting inside, I quickly realized I had paid $10 for the privilege of standing shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers because there was literally nowhere to sit. The place was packed, which is great for business, but not so great for customers who are expected to pay a cover and then spend the entire night standing around. I stayed about 30 minutes because my friends were there, but the vibe had already been ruined at the door. Nothing kills a night out faster than rude customer service before you've even made it inside. By the way when I was leaving, the rude door person had the nerve to tell me that if I came back right away she wouldn't charge me, but if I didn't come back right away she would charge me again the $10.
