    Inspirational stuff
    Marcus S.

Came here for some shirts and a nice high grade water bottle/canteen. This Dick's is huge, bigger than the others I've been two with two floors. The staff I interacted with were helpful and friendly, but I think there could've been more and dispersed a bit as I found them kind of in the same area. The areas are clearly sectioned off between the brands and Men, women and kids making it pretty easy to move to what you need section wise. Since the store is so big the stock was pretty good. They have tons of apparel to choose from, lots of sport equipment from baseball/softball equipment to the more adventurous equipment like kayaks and fishing gear. The only other issue was some of the racks, particularly in sale/clearance area was pretty hit. Of course I always give the benefit of the doubt as it only takes one person to wreck a rack of clothes but I'd think they'd have someone on hand to touch it up a bit. Overall, it's ok here.

    Great looking new location

New, two floor location at the "de-malled" Wayne Town Center. I went in looking for a hoodie for one of the little ones in my family and found a good selection of Under Armor, Nike and Reebok to mention a few. For the fishermen (and women) out there, they have a tremendous selection of poles and lures on the second floor. For the hunters and golfers, there's a large selection of gear as well. Although I didn't explore the entire store, at a glance it was stocked similarly to the other locations I've visited, but maybe on a larger scale.

BRAVO to Dick's for stopping the selling of Assault Rifles and making 21 the age of purchase for other guns! Great job Dick's!

It's very difficult to find someone to help with sneakers and shoes. Unfortunately there are not a lot of sporting goods stores around.

Changing rooms are buzz for a helper. Definitely enough staffers and people who are friendly to help all over. Three staffers were talking about one pair of ski boots they sold with the wrong insoles (it was the display old blue insoles instead of the new ones) and trying to find and contact that customer to the best of their ability. Good customer service, there. Winter gear almost all out in February, so end of season and clearance sales on some items, but not others (same snow bib for women was on sale, the men's version - not on sale? guess it's about how many they've sold?). Didn't really find any ski socks of note. Some jackets on sale. And some weird jelly bean flavors. Skip the bubble tea version, they taste terrible. Bike and ski services in the back. Prices aren't too bad, so hopefully would be smooth to get service. Will bring back my bike later this year to see what they can do about a sticky lower gear.

A staff did ask if they could help me but they just had other things to do seemingly. I ended up being there for a a couple of hours and purchased a large amount of items. (15 full price) and becoming a 'member'.The staff that let you in the fitting room were extremely helpful. Upon returning twice to return a total of two items, the cashier staff were rude and not caring, almost disgruntled. Very odd and won't be returning here even though it is close to work. I liked and enjoyed the shopping but the staff either get heat from their corporate people (which is probably the case) or are just very unhappy. I can't imagine why outdoor loving people would be unhappy!

I came back to get my mom a pair of gloves and they helped me decide and in picking the warmest combination of gloves I could get her. I went for the great inventory, and prices, but went back a few times for their staff are really super super helpful. I had written this in Google reviews, but noticed I hadn't added it here, and given I had a fantastic experience with Campmor again I had to add this. My most recent experience was great again even though I had a glove that failed under the stress of the winter, given the crazy amount of shoveling over this crazy weekend as well as some outdoor activity. This however, is no fault of the store anyhow, & instead to their credit they resolved the situation seamlessly. I ended getting the flagship glove from Gordini, and another cheaper one for when its not so cold so I dont have to put the expensive ones thru all the hard wear. Anyway, excellent gloves. I currently own 6 pairs of gloves, and some insulated jacket I bought this winter season from campmor, and these are all excellent. Fantastic store.

I waited about 15 minutes before meeting Doug for a boot fitting. He measured my foot, looked at its structure, and pulled out a few boots to try. The first was tight (as it was a size down) and when we went up in size it fit very well. Then he had me try several different models/brands and we settled on a pair of Salomon's. He heated the liner and had it heat molded to my foot. Through the entire process (which took about an hour), Doug shared stories, experience, and explained each step. He made me feel comfortable and confident in his skill. Once completed, I mentioned my bindings needed to be adjusted. I brought in my skis and they had my bindings readjusted in 15 minutes. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience here and will be coming back should I need any other gear. I paid full price for the boot, expected with the excellent fitting, and was told if I needed work on the boot I can return within a year. They are a knowledgeable group of people, kind, and have a wide selection. I can't recommend them enough.

Coming to CS4L for a camp appointment creates excitement about the camp experience for even the most apprehensive camper (or parent!) in a way that a Prime delivery truck never will. Starting with the individual attention in picking out comforters and sheets, they make every customer feel like they're the ONLY priority of the day. They have an incredible selection of camp necessities and camp "extras" presented in a low-key environment. I love how they have a list of camps near the sheets so you're not re-checking the packing list to see if you need twin-sized or cot sheets for your camper (yes, there is a difference!). There is ZERO pressure to buy extras (and they've even told me it's not necessary to buy everything at their store). Beyond that, they know what campers bring at specific camps (not every camp sends a Crazy Creek chair, for example). They are always willing to present a budget-friendly option (again...they carry a custom clip case for stationery, but they're just as apt to suggest a plain clip case and a few stickers for a camper). If you're packing your "experienced" camper and realize your trunks are ripped the day before they are supposed to leave, they always have TONS of trunks ready for purchase. Many of their custom items have blazing fast turnaround (I ordered a custom teddy bear that was ready in less than 24-hours). I've truly never had a bad experience in this store and recommend them to friends from NY to FL. Their return policy can't be beat. At this point, I consider them to be friends. They are my go-to shop for birthday presents (they wrap everything), and have items at EVERY price-point. They're the best!
