Wow. So I called to ask them if they have a go pro in stock since the website said they had limited quantities. Someone picks up after the phone rings for a solid 30 seconds. I tell them I'm looking for a Go Pro. He puts me on hold. Another few minutes pass and the guy picks up the phone and says "you looking for shoes?". No...im looking for a go pro. He hangs up on me. Ok cool. So I call back and ask for someone who can check of they have the go pro I'm looking for. The dude on the phone yells "Yo do we have go pros? No? Sorry boss no go pros". Very large store with a decent selection of merchandise. Unfortunately the store is messy, has incorrect signs for the prices and slow, very slow employees. There were two cashiers ringing at 5:30PM on a Friday with a line wrapped around the apparel section. There is no urgency to get support from other employees or a manager and the cashier did not seem interested in helping customers. read more

Rude staff. Not helpful and unprofessional. Items misplaced in wrong sections so prices are misleading. When asking for clarification the young inexperienced store associates are blantantly rude, condescending and in no way are trained in customer service. The store manager there at the time remedied the situation and was apologetic. read more

I called to ask if they had a certain hat,,, waited on the phone for 7 minutes talked to two different people then hung up. And for any action sports equipment I would never go there! read more

Be prepared to stand in line for 30minutes+ every visit. Understaffed and the staff that are present seem to always be miserable and move slowly. Amazon is the way to go, save money & no lines. read more

Place is so disorganized- 12 people on line and ONE person at the register- are you kidding ? They never have any sneaker sizes in stock or anything for that matter. You wait for someone to get it in your size takes 20 minutes. No one on the sales floor either. Won't be coming here. Better off going to your local sport shop, maybe you pay a little more but your helped quickly and no hassle. read more

GOOD points: I went to get a lacrosse head restrung. The manager was nice enough to give me 50% off the total cost. And the man who did it was super friendly! The store itself is beautiful and fully stocked. BUT When I went to the cashier, the woman was so rude and nasty! She was trying to contact, Juan, the floor manager, to check on that discount. All she keep saying was, "that discount isn't going to be that much." In other words she didn't want to be bothered having to go through the manager to ring up the sale. I mean, who says that? Was she going to pay the other 50%? In the end, I didn't get that discount. She screwed up the bill. After asking her why she had to be so rude with her attitude, she again was continuing to be disrespectful. Her name is something like SHANEEQUA???? Be careful ordering on-line . I received a pair of USED sneakers today . Bottom had rocks in the soles ,dirty bottom , grass inside the sneakers . Clearly used . There offer was for me to buy the shoe again have overnighted and return the used sneakers . So I pay twice and get a refund 30 days later . No more Dick's Sporting goods for me . read more

Juan is SO HELPFUL in the sneaker department. I will always come back to this store and to Juan for sneakers. I came in for 1 specific pair of shoes, which they did not have in stock in my size. I was bummed because I wanted to buy my new sneakers in store so I had them by a specific date and our new sneaker friend said "don't worry I will take care of you!" He sure did.. Juan was fantastic. He was able to juggle all customers on a busy day and motivate his department team to give the same excellent level of customer service as he does. He ordered the sneakers I wanted and my sister and I left with 2 other pairs that we originally and no intention of buying, but Juan made our shopping experience fun and we could tell he was truly looking to help- not just make a sale. I'll have my sneakers on time plus I have an extra pair that I love. As an avid online shopper, I will make the exception and take the trip over to Dick's for athletic gear. Thanks, Juan! read more

You better know exactly what you want and where it is in the store and don't even think of buying shoes here... Horrendous service... Horrible place to shop. Hard to find what you need. Staff members are unhelpful ...that is if you can actually find someone to help. The shoe department is the worst. Again hard to find someone to help and then you wait a long time for them to bring out shoes. When they finally bring out the shoes there's two different size shoes in the box. Total waste of time. I actually shopped directly from the under armour website and paid $5 more for the same exact shoes because I couldn't deal with the lack of service and inconvenience at Dicks. read more

I have worked in retail management for quite a while, big box sporting goods stores are difficult to run but the managers in this store make the best of what they have to work with. They don't seem to have a staff that supports the volume they are putting out, but the thing that gets me is that the staff never asks if they can help, they will blow by and never even say hello. -1 star. The boys in the lidge really pick up the slack however an make it tolerable to shop in the store. 2 stars for the lodge boys and 2 for the managers. -1 for the rest of the staff. read more

Per the online order form, these items were available for pick up at this store and the order went through successfully. Half an hour later, I received an email that said due to limited availability and higher than usual demand your order has been cancelled. Go Dick's! read more

It's very difficult to find someone to help with sneakers and shoes. Unfortunately there are not a lot of sporting goods stores around.

This review is largely in part for their Golf Department. To start they do have a large array of club sets, individual clubs, clothing, putters, grips, etc. Beware their prices are not affordable especially when it comes to apparel, im talking golf shorts for 80$, tees $60. My first experience, I purchased a new putter and super stroke grip, in which they would install the grip for a nominal fee. The only person working in the entire department was a young kid, who installed the grip and when i returned home saw that it was off center and not mounted properly. My second experience my parents bought me a new hybrid in which was given the wrong headcover indicating a different lie angle. After hitting it minimally at the range i notice the flight path is way too shallow, and notice the conflicting angles of lie between the club and headcover. Bring it back in, talk to both employees respectfully, but tell me that there is nothing they can do since i hit the club. I explain that i am a frequent shopper here and that you in addition sold me the wrong headcover but to no avail. They ended up offering me a trade back from $18, the club was over $150 when purchased. All in all, I will never shop here again, and wouldn't trust anything golf related from the store since they hire minimum wage uncomeptent employees. read more

Before I go on my rant I just want to say that this review is not reflective of all employees at this store as I have never had an issue in the past. I visited this store with my wife on the evening of 7/18/16 with the intention of purchasing a mountain bike for my son. The store was basically empty and the associate in the bike department was busy with another customer. After looking around and unable to find the bike I was looking for I looked over to the associate who was now on the phone. I patiently waited for over 10 minutes for him to get off the phone. As soon as he got off the phone, a kid approached him with what appeared to be his grandparents asking about purchasing a bike. The boy's grandfather, noticing that I was no more then 10 feet away from them and looking right at them mentioned to the associate if someone else was in front of them to which the associate quickly replied no and continued to serve them. Now be aware, I'm 6'2" and over 300 lbs. I'm not the type of person to go unnoticed. Even the grandfather noticed me within a minute of arriving.Yet this ASSociate payed me no mind at all. Perhaps he saw the kid as an easy sale of a bmx bike. Whereas I, who had a tshirt, shorts and flipflops was just a waste of his precious time. Needless to say, he lost a sale on a Diamondback worth $700. Just because you work at Dicks doesn't mean you need to be one. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this store. I came in on a work day looking for a specific piece of sporting equipment and was expecting to be in and out in ten minutes. I immediately found the item and asked the nearest employee for help. He called the rep for that department who came 15 min later and asked if I wanted to continue shopping while he prepared the item for me. I explained I was in a rush and didn't want to wait. He said it would be 10 min and to go check out. 30 min later my item was brought to the counter and the rep told me everything was in place but "you need one phillips screw" which he made to seem was in the box he also supplied. I didn't think much of it til I got home and realized the supplied piece was defective and would not thread in the item. I emailed the store this whole story and asked them to mail me a replacement and also explained my frustration with the rep who I assume knew the piece didn't fit but let me leave with it anyway. The customer service department from Dick's got back to me and said I had to go back into the store with the receipt and the item. No apology, no offer to send the missing piece, no compensation, just a blank proposal for me to spend more of my time and energy to deal with their mistake. No thanks, Dick's. read more

Staff seems to be very helpful until you get to the cash registers to pay. EVERYONE calls the next customers "NEXT!". Visited several times and I received the same tone from the staff regardless of who is behind the counter. I will opt to online shopping going forward and not bother with the un-appreciative and ungrateful staff. read more
