So I called chappy's repair and they sharpen for five dollars if you bring your blade in. $10 if they have to remove it from your lawnmower and then sharpen it. I brought it in expecting to have to leave it Overnight but the guy there said no let me do it for you right now. So within 10 minutes he had it perfectly sharpened. For five dollars. Besides repair they also sell lawnmowers. I saw a lot of used ones there push, self propelled, and riders. Maybe they sell new ones too. I don't know. But I highly recommend this place.

Called on Friday morning, May 9th at 8:00 am and the man on the phone said he'd have to take my number and call me back. Wasn't called back by 11:00. so I called again. Lady I spoke with took my name and told me my mower was next in line to be worked on. So I asked if that meant it would be done that day. She said maybe not because they go to lunch between 12 and 1 and it would probably be done early the next week. That made no sense if I were the next in line. Does it take multiple days to address one mower repair??? Maybe they take terribly long lunches? So I called Tuesday morning, May 13th to see if the mower was done. Was told I was third in line and it would be done later that day or Wednesday. So apparently I'd dropped 2 positions in the queue. No call from them either of those days telling me it was done. Called them this morning, May 15th to see if I could pick uo my mower. Was told it wasn't done yet so I told him to pull it out and I'd just pick it up anyway. Went down to pick it up and the man at the counter went to the back room, came back and told me mine was next in line and could be done this afternoon if I'd just leave it. Told him I was told I was next in line last Friday and I took my mower. THEY DIDN'T EVEN OFFER TO HELP LOAD MY MOWER!!!! Looking through their reviews, my experience with the Sled Shed isn't that unusual.

Their mower has been in and out of this place multiple times, each time with vague explanations and increasingly steep repair costs. Most recently, they had it for over a month--with zero communication and no intention of returning it until a neighbor intervened and demanded they get it back. When they finally did, my parents were out over $800, and the mower worked for less than half a day before it sparked, caught fire in the dry leaves, and caused my elderly father to fall trying to put it out. Let that sink in. They've shown no accountability, no urgency, and absolutely no respect for their customers--especially vulnerable ones. They preyed on two kind people who just wanted their mower fixed and safe to use. This isn't just bad business. It's irresponsible, exploitative, and dangerous. I wouldn't trust them to fix a bicycle, let alone a piece of equipment that can literally catch fire if not properly repaired. Save your time, your money, and your safety--go anywhere else.

Purchased a $33 mule drive belt for my John Deere 300…read more Long story short, it was a tad too big so I returned it. Instead of refunding me, they charged my card again as a purchase. So now I'm out $67. So Thursday, I head back in, they acknowledge they made a mistake, and they attempt to make it right. Well... they charged me again. Friday, I went to Ace Hardware for something else and the card machine kept saying declined. I checked my banking app and sure enough. I literally put money in it not even an hour before. New charge, City Tractor $166.78. I went straight over there, to figure out what the heck was going on. Turns out, they entered the wrong number for my "refund" Thursday and realized it the next day. So in order for them to make it right in their system, they ran my card, without my knowledge, on Friday for that $166.78 to offset the amounts, to make it right.... FOR THEM. Well all know charges come out before refunds, so of course it took that amount before any refund has hit my account. Here it is, Memorial Day weekend, and we know dang well the credit union won't even look at this until mid next week. So my family and I get to spend the holiday weekend down over $200 for a mistake on the merchant. I try not to leave negative reviews, but it felt like these guys didn't give 2 sh**s about the inconvenience this created for me and my family.

I bought a mower here and the…read moresales experience was very comfortable, so I was looking forward to having my snowblower serviced for the season there. I dropped it off October 26th and was told it would be 2-3 weeks. After 4 weeks had gone by, I called to check in. They said they needed a couple more weeks. After 6 weeks, I called again. It was "on the bench right now, " and they'd call me. 6 days later and 7 weeks from dropping it off, still nothing. I've had to initiate every communication, and can only assume now that I'm being lied to. I feel I've been patient, and civil but they seem to be getting work done for squeakier wheels ahead of me. Beginning to think I'll need to go to court to get visitation rights to my snowblower.
