Not only does he have an incredible line of prepared cut meat one could use for picnics but also if you want to cook in your place because you doing a B&B or something he has some of the finest cuts in the city. there's also a nice selection of terrine meats and pate products. He has everything from prime rib down to German style hot dogs and cold cuts period. He's a real butcher he's a nice gentleman and his assistant speaks a little bit of English. They had a couple of butcher's shops in the city and they could probably find you whatever you need. Here's a couple items he makes himself that are special and you should try them or at least ask him what they are. When I went there there is a layered potato project 30 bed and another one that was a sliced meat and Spice blend that was just heavenly. Very nice people I highly recommend them. like I said whether you have a picnic or you're planning a big dinner this is the place to search for your needs.

You will often find a queue outside the shop on a Saturday morning, so get there early if you want one of the spit roasted chickens being cooked in front of your very eyes ! The food is all of a very high standard, with the shelves full with various good quality British meat produce. I regularly buy my bacon from here, as well as various types of sausages and lamb products. I like that the food here is also local, which makes me feel better than buying meat from Tesco's that has come from the cages of Holland battery farms. The quality on offer here is really good, while still coming at a very affordable price.

My grandparents took me to this fishmonger as a child - it's the first one I know, and to this date, the most well stocked fishmonger I've ever been to (no slight to Pike Place Market - there are good fisheries there as well - but this one beats it). The fishing boats arrive daily - with rich bounties. most of what is sold here was brought in by one of the many colorful fishing boats in the harbor. Such fishmongers dot the coastline of France, for sure, but this one is and always has been special to me. Oh - and they generally have sea urchin. THAT is a big deal!
