I came here with two other women after a post-dinner stroll on a chilly February night. We…read moreapproached seeking warmth indoors, hot bevvies, and something to satisfy the ole sweet tooth. Indoors, the place was packed and really hot. The hostess asked if we wanted to sit outside on the patio and we were kinda leery of choosing to sit out there on a cold night. We came seeking warm shelter! We ended up being pleasantly surprised to be seated at an adorable table with comfy red blankets for each patron and heaters spread around. There were some Evergreens right next to our table which smelled just lovely. We each ordered a hot bevvie - Cappuccino, Black tea, and a Chai Latte. The Chai Latte was magnificent. We also shared a dessert. It was an apple tarte flambe. It hit the spot - thin crust, creme fraiche, thinly sliced apples, liqueur, and served flaming! I'd recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area. Keep in mind they do not accept credit cards without the chip. Have Euros available.

Incredibly Good Food! After you get off the U-Bahn (subway)…read moreat Wahring Strasse stop, head just a few blocks down Wahring Strasse and Wilder Mann is on your left. My husband had Schnitzel Cordon Bleu with fries and a salad, and I had pork medallions with asparagus risotto. It's asparagus season here and so I usually gravitate toward anything with asparagus - and I love risotto. This did not disappoint! Although it's a smallish place and looks more "sports bar" like, the food was superb. The schnitzel was crispy and large, and the risotto was some of the best I've had. The service was friendly and we would definitely eat here again! Both dinners plus two drinks about 36 Euros. Very reasonable.
