While other companies skirted the issue and even failed to come look at our project, the Diamond representative came out several times to take photos and to puzzle out an answer to our dilemma, and in the end, we were successful in getting the necessary permissions. The crew were phenomenal, getting the old driveway torn out and paving the entire area in less than half a day. They were very careful to check over and over that the drainage would work properly. Within a couple of months, the driveway cracked, not just a crack, cracked everywhere, large cracks with pieces chipping out, and cracks jumped pads, it's a mess. Tried to contact Michael, but he ignored me till I mentioned court. Then, he finally answered me and said too bad, concrete cracks. No matter how many times I asked him to address the sidewalk pad, he just doesn't respond. Now, I've got a couple companies doing evaluations of the work and will be filing a claim in court. PHENOMENAL! Rock…read morePlacement Company provides OUTSTANDING customer service and does EXCELLENT work! Jake came out to the property to see what I was trying to achieve. He not only listened . . . he actually understood the look I was trying to achieve. He sees the subtle coloration in the rocks (as do I) and has a very artistic eye. And, he guided me throughout this process. When I went to the yard to select rocks, I was greeted by Bud, the dog (in addition to the staff). Bud is super cool and was just another positive aspect of this experience for me. I am particular and had a vision in mind, so it was important that the end result achieved the goal. Hans, who was easy-going and quite personable, did the placement work. He moved the gigantic claw arm with utter precision and had an artist's eye for placement! And, he was so very patient as I asked to tweek the rock placement. When the rocks were set, he even used the claw to level out the soil. We purchased a property on a one-acre lot in Sandpoint two years ago and we invited Legacy to give…read moreus a bid on the landscaping. It was a bit of a challenge because although the property is waterfront, only the backside of the garage faced the water, and the rest of the property was seriously overgrown and cluttered. Legacy first drew detailed plan proposals and after three iterations, we had a final plan that more than embodied our vision. Some of the design elements we would never have thought of and they really added to the total. Next we got a detailed cost breakdown and timing. Having dealt with other contractors extensively, I did not expect the budget and timeline to be followed, but they were! We of course, made changes as we went, but each time, Joey would come out to discuss and then he would produce revised schematics, timing and pricing. As a result, there were never any surprises. The end result far exceeded our expectations and we have received lots of kudos from our friends & neighbors (some have hired Legacy themselves!). So this could not have been a better experience and I think this comes down to excellent architecture, superb project management and a steady team that not only knew what they were doing, but also had an artist's touch.
