We go as often as we can -- and every time, it feels like you're right in the middle of the action. The intimate atmosphere of the arena makes a huge difference. You're not just watching the game -- you're in it. One of our favorite memories? Last season, we were lucky enough to be there when Jemel Jones dropped 45 points against CSUN -- breaking the school's single-game scoring record in the process. The energy in the building was unreal. Huge comeback, electric crowd, and a win we'll be talking about for years. Nights like that remind you why live sports are so magical. The fan experience here is top-tier -- no bad seats, great energy, and a program that clearly takes pride in putting on a great show for the community. If you're in Bakersfield and haven't been to a game yet, you're missing out. This is hometown basketball at its best. I would Love to work here

I recently stopped by to take some pictures for my siblings' graduations, and the campus has plenty of photoworthy spots with great foliage, architecture, and a little creek which runs through campus. This is also where I voted in the recent primary. It is so nice to have a public institution so close to home. I've been to a couple graduation ceremonies as my sister received her bachelors and masters here. They always do a good job with their ceremonies and were accommodating for our mobily challenged grandmother.

The schedule during spring & fall is very flexible. I worked full time during the day & still managed to get a Bachelor's in 2 years at CSUB. Most of my professors were accommodating to me when I had serious medical issues. I met some professors that truly made my experience wonderful. Anytime I've had registering or scheduling issues, I was always promptly able to handle them thanks to all the departments. The facility is beautiful. Clean, spacious & always a lot of security & police. I love that there are different food options & a Starbucks. The student store is stocked & reasonably priced. I can't say enough good things about this university. I'm proud to be a Runner Alumni! Go Roadrunners!

Edward's is a longtime favorite of mine and has been my "home theater" for as long as I can…read moreremember. I've seen more movies than I can even recall here. The upgrades over the years have been nice. I appreciate the modern and comfortable declining cushioned chairs they added a while back. At the time of this review, they seem to be under one of the more ambitious renovation jobs with the main entrance area, the ticketing booth, and the concessions all under construction. I am excited to see how it all turns out and will need to write an update when they finish.

Disgusting!!! I purposely waited for another cashier because that is gross. They need to wear gloves when handling food or not allowed to touch all over themselves.

A lot different than the days when you could bring in your…read moreown food, drink, chairs, etc and the whole concert series cost $40 (for 4 shows!). now the cost is $35 (i don't mind paying for quality entertainment), but you can't even bring in water and they charge $4.25 for a 50 cent bottle of water. Beer is either $7.50 for water beer or $9.50 for good beer--outrageous. The chairs are tied so close together that you have to sit on your neighbors lap--luckily we had a nice cool night. the music was very good for a cover band (Abba) and worth the $35. Also, they have lots of the park taped off so people can't listen for free. ?how can they do that at a public park funded with tax payer dollars?. we used to go to shows all the time--I doubt we will be back.. shame on you for being so greedy. let people at least bring in their own water.

We went there on Friday with our family of 7 to play a round of mini golf. Havent been there in a…read morebit but its really going down hill. The course isnt kept up. So many areas where brick borders are in disrepair. Broken out of place trip hazards because they arent cemented in. No fountains working. There were shimmers in the water ways cleaning them. Leaves and trash around no number boat fountain everything just looks worn down. The speaker system sounds terrible. How can you expect to have people go there with things so poorly taken care of. I just remember other places that are way more appealing. I wish there was a better spot for families where someone actually cared.
