I haven't been here since Judas Priest played back in 2012, but it's awesome to come back and see a hokey game! Go Condors! I had a blast with my wife and I look forward to coming back for another game! Maybe another concert!

I do like to come and see the condors play here and the cinch rodeo was really fun to watch but whoever does the sound for the shows must be deaf because the sound is so loud that the speakers are crackling and almost everyone in my section was holding their ears. If it was just a couple of clicks lower it would have been perfect. Luckily the staff had ear plugs for my kids, free of charge. We did end up getting some good snacks and they were very tasty.

PBR Whisky Pendleton 2024 was absolutely amazing. We had a great time. This venue was great, clean, and all the employees we came across were very nice. Parking was $20 and three waters $15. No cash accepted in venue. Can't wait for next year. 2/4/24

A Condors game is a must to attend. The aura is wonderful and will change your frame of mind. It sure gets me up and screaming and cheering for The Condors! The announcer is awesome and really gets people pumped up. Like any other event at a venue, it is expensive. Food and drinks are overpriced. It is a bummer that we are not allowed to bring any outside food, drinks, or candy. Also, the seats are pretty small. You're pretty much shoulder to shoulder with people. With family, it's all good, but with strangers, it's awkward, especially when you want to yell and make noise and don't want to be inconsiderate with strangers around you.

This arena isn't big so every seat is a great seat! The workers are happy to help and guide you where you need to go. On my part it was a bit chilly inside which is good when there's a lot of bodies and body heat. I ordered some nachos and it was a huge portion, granted it was $16 but when you're hungry its worth it; lots of cheese and lots of chips!!! The beers are expensive ranging from $13-18 and they change the prices depending on the artist which is a bit weird, but they have many MANY stations for food and drinks.

This is a nice convention center, restrooms are located very close to whichever door you choose to come out of the main theatre area which is a big plus! Seats we comfortable but could use just a little more leg room as everyone is forced to stand up or be assaulted if someone in the middle of the aisle needs out. The acoustics are good and lighting was ample for the performances of the athletes we went to watch.

I think Rabobank Arena is a nice arena. I have visited this arena on several different occasions. A couple of times for my husband's company's Christmas party and a few times for events and yes I'm guilty.... even when Pokémon Go started and you were able to find some Pokémon's here, matter fact, I caught my first Ghastly here haha. My recent visit was the first annual HS career expo that was held by Kern HS District alongside Dignity Health. My oldest is a senior this year, so it was a great event to attend and such a great experience for these kids. A lot of young adults don't know what career path they want to go to school for, so this gives them an opportunity to decide and to help them get a glimpse of what they need to look forward to. It also gives the kids an opportunity to see that they don't need to settle for just one career goal. This nice arena is located Downtown Bakersfield and amazingly always stays up to date and is always clean. I'm not a big hockey fan, but I've watched a few Condors games here and the games are always fun to watch with the kids. I know they always have their annual Disney on Ice every year in October as well as the Harlem Globetrotters that usually perform in February, they also always have those monster truck events that my boys enjoyed when they were small. The Arena used to be called Centennial Garden, but other than the name changing years ago, it still looks the same. Parking can sometimes be a hassle depending on the event, so be careful parking anywhere downtown as most parking on the street is usually metered (during business hours anyway).

Came here for my nieces graduation. It was a stadium, it was so much better than the Bakersfield heat. Street parking right outside.

Ask the Community - Dignity Health Arena

Is there chili available to purchase?

I'm pretty sure they were selling chili inside the bar, yes. Might have even had a bread bowl option.

What sections is the best to view stage?

Floor 2 within 10 rows of the stage.

How is parking? I will be going there in my car loaded with dj equipment. Will be safe in the car?

It's an average parking lot, but it is not patrolled by security. Not sure how safe your items will be in the car.

Some pros and cons. I started the RN program. The whole admissions portion was easy peezy. From…read morefinancial aid to monthly payments. Once you're enrolled if you have FA questions just schedule an appointment, you won't get answers via email. I completed a full year of the pre reqs, it was difficult but manageable! I loved all of the professors! I did learn a lot from them. My cohort was fun, no drama and everyone worked together and got along (I guess many didn't hear that) lol Come to taking the TEAS. Unfortunately this is where the road ended for me at Martha Fuerst. I failed twice (not blaming the school or anyone else) originally, I was told I had to wait 3 months to retake it again (but that meant I wouldn't be with my same cohort) but that's okay. I have friends at the San Diego campus and they WERE able to retake theirs in 3 months as anticipated but not me. I later was told I had to wait a FULL year from my last test date which was 12/2023. Umm? Well that sucks! I knew I couldn't just sit around and not do any schooling so I searched for a different school. (I won't say which) but I retook my teas 02/2024 at a different school and passed. And so.... I emailed Martha fuerst and said will I be able to use these results? I was told no. If I wanted to re apply then I can in December and would have to retake the teas because they do not accept outside TEAS scores. Thats weird? Because I know students from my cohort definitely used their outside TEAS scores and submitted it. Also, you need a 2.7 to continue. Before it was a 2.5. So I know a few other students didn't cont. on also. They were to attend a community college and retake those classes they got low scores on and submit them to cont. at MF. (I didn't have GPA problems) but the Teas kicked my butt. It's unfortunate because I really liked this school but I suppose the universe is directing me a different route. Only cons: unknown policy changes Pros: be on your A game and you'll be just fine.

If I could leave less stars I would. This school has been one of the worst things to ever happen to…read moreme. Not only did I pay 80,000 to get a mediocre education (at best), but now after I graduated I received a job offer and the school for whatever reason will not send our transcripts to the BRN so my class can take their NCLEX. I have alittle over a month to take my NCLEX or I lose my job offer. This isn't the first thing the school has done either. Starting in our second semester, they didn't give us our schedule until 2 days before classes started. Our first class was on zoom and they expected us to enroll ourselves in all our classes on moodle, not ever informing us of teaching us how to do it prior. Finally getting into the nursing program itself 3rd semester, we had a professor named Dr, Orton. She was our fundamentals professor and did not teach us not even 1 thing that whole semester. She was racist, unavailable, and rude. When someone had a problem in her class with something she would shut down and take it out on the whole class. 4th semester got better as Kirsten came in and tried to help fill in our grey areas. 5th semester during OB we had a pregnant professor, dr. Ria who only ever complained about being pregnant. At clinicals she was found laying down in a clean patients room taking a nap on the bed. To say embarrassing would be the least. She taught us very little and would be extremely upset if anyone asked her any kind of questions. 6th semester went well as we had Dr. Cavillo or Farhat. Probably top 5 professors there. Not to mention during this time we had 3-4 different deans, whom all changed the rules as they went along. When I graduated Sam Lynn was being exited as the dean. I believe she lied to us about a lot of things. She could never give us a straight answer on anything. She was really good at making word salads and never actually answering a single question you had. She told us to be prepared to take our NCLEX 2 weeks from May 11th, and we have not heard a single thing from her since. No one will directly answer the questions you have, no one cares how you feel or what you think. They want their money and after they get it, you're screwed. While admin and most professors are complete trash I do just want to mention the ones that are trying so hard to make a difference: Kirsten, Dakota, Ken, Alex, Angelica, the peds team (ABCD), and Farhat. These professors are the only ones that will care about you and try to make a difference in this mess of a school. DO NOT ATTEND HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT

Both have been supportive, knowledgeable, and clearly care about student growth. I truly appreciate the instruction and guidance I received from them throughout the program. They have both helped me in furthering my education and focusing on my career. With that being said, I did experience some challenges with communication along the way with the overall school itself. There were times when I reached out with issue or concern and it would either take weeks or I didn't receive a response at all, when certain things were discussed or promised and I felt they weren't fully followed through. This made parts of the process more stressful than they needed to be, especially in a program that already requires a lot of dedication and effort. This is not an easy program, and it's important to understand that you have to be determined and willing to put in the work. This is not something that's handed to you--you truly have to earn it. However, I will say that if you remain persistent and advocate for yourself, the school does make efforts to support you and follow through. Overall, while there is room for improvement in communication, the quality of education and the commitment of key staff members made the experience worthwhile for me and I know this schooling experience will stay with me the rest of my life
