When we contacted them after we received an automated text they took over a week to contact us back and said we owed a bill for my daughter from May they fixed 7 cavities, but my daughter said only 3 I asked for verification that it was indeed 7 and they could only send my what they billed the insurance for. so I was curious I had x-rays from another dentist and sure enough, they said she only had three teeth that had ever been worked on. I find this funny because this was the only time my daughter went unaccompanied to her appt. So are they billing for more than what was done? I am currently in contact with my insurance company. I just received an e-mail from them saying I was dismissed by them for not following their policy about billing procedures. I find humor in this. When you ask questions they don't want to answer they dismiss you .

The care they received was very poor, probably a 2.5 star on this site. After their passing, Kimes changed hands and became a Medicare facility. We'd heard that they had greatly improved, and were pleased to hear that they offered a rehabilitation ward as well as a nursing home ward. The only change that had occurred was a steep drop in quality. Dropping from the low level of quality they were maintaining already means they've hit rock bottom and started drilling. My grandmother went into the rehabilitation ward after a period of hospitalization. She lived at Kimes for one week. During that time, the nurses: - messed up her medications - completely screwed up her medication schedule - prepared the foods she was specifically NOT to eat - failed to prepare her foods properly (pureed - my grandmother couldn't swallow solid foods) - promised to call in prescriptions for my grandmother then failed to do so - failed to give my grandmother the physical therapy she was supposed to receive on a daily basis - tried to keep her an extra week, despite the Medicare nurse's recommendation to the contrary All in one week. IN ONE WEEK. Not to mention that the nurses never opened her window curtains for her during the day, despite repeated requests that they do so, and the light in her room was burned out and never fixed, despite multiple work orders requested, so she stayed in this dark, awful, cave-like environment while trying to recover her strength. When you have a loved one who is ill and needs care, the last thing you want is to feel like you have to be with them in the rehabilitation facility 24/7 to keep the nurses from killing her with either inattention or incompetence. I'm completely fed up with Kimes and wish from the bottom of my heart that they'd close down or fire everyone and hire a competent staff. Don't mess with people's loved ones, Kimes. Care for them like they're family. That's what you're SUPPOSED to do.

I called 3 days in advance to set up an appointment. I showed up and I had to knock on the window in front of the receptionist to let me in. She finally came to the door and said "May I help you?". In an extremely, condescending, and disrespectful way. I came at the time of my appointment, obviously it was the 21 year old student showing up for the appointment. After being let in, I waited... and this is not an exaggeration, one hour, before someone showed me any acknowledgement. I got numbed, but I still felt everything, that was being done to my messed up tooth. The head dentist stopped the filling because she said that she didn't want to hurt me anymore. I respected that. BUT, from when I got into the office, to when I left, 30 minutes past. I told her that my tooth was extra sensitive to pressure and she told me while I was getting an extremely painful filling, that she DID NOT need to be doing what she was doing because my problem is definitely more severe. She did not tell me that. I contemplated walking out the second I saw the clown show of a business. I should have left when I wanted to. She didn't finish the filling to make the sides even flossable. She left me with bleeding gums and tooth shavings in my mouth without offering me a rinse. Then told me to go pay. I went back to my car and cried to my mom and she made me a new dentist appointment.
