Diletto's is a cute spot with ok prices. Seating is a little limited, but turnover is also relatively quick so it seems to not be much of a problem. It also has easy parking and is wheelchair accessible. I ordered the avocado, cheese and spinach bagel: They asked if I'd like it on an everything bagel and with chipotle Mayo or pesto. I chose pesto, and was also told it was pesto when it is clearly not. It still tasted great and after the confusion they asked if they could fix any thing. I told them it was fine, but indeed not pesto!! Otherwise, the bagel was crispy and tasty, and the tater tots that came on the side were also adequate. I have not tried their beverages yet, but they seem pretty popular, so I will update on that eventually. I asked someone randomly in the parking lot what her go-to was and she suggested the becon-egg-cheese bagel with the cilantro sauce (she stressed don't forget the cilantro sauce) Wow. Great call. We have been here a few times and it's always solid. Weekends are a bit so so try to make it before 9a or come during the week. The coffee is amazing and well done. My favorite is the cortado and not everywhere makes a great one but this one is the best for the area of North Georgia. Pair it with any pastry or croissant and your set. I love the Chocolate croissant. The breakfast are also amazing. So far we have had nothing bad here. We often get treats to go when we are here since everything is good and filling. The staff is nice and well I already let you know they make great coffee. The only thing we have tried yet is the natural juices. I have seen many with them and they look wonderful. I didn't get to try many places in Georgia when I visited, but this was to me, one of the best. It has a bit of Colombian cuisine, like empanadas which were sooo delicious!! I ate them with a bit of the chilaquiles salsa that I had and delish. I need to go back. We also got desserts, chilaquiles, and coffees there & they were all 5/5. The service was okay. Diletto Bakery is such a neat spot on Gainesville. You can grab several delicious breads, snacks or drinks while sitting down for a relaxing time. They have some really good desserts and drinks as well but the pictures you see here is from a time i stopped by for a little breakfast. Steak and eggs with a side of potatoes and an order of their pancakes with their gauva syrup. The steak was very flavorful and the potatoes and eggs were cooked perfectly. Their pancakes were fluffy with a slight crunch on the edges (my favorite) and with their guava syrup (highy recommend, you'll never want regular syrup again), I left Diletto's extremely satisfied. A wonderful coffee shop and bakery. I've had the empanadas, strawberry shortcake, chocolate mousse, turkey sandwich, hot tea and many vanilla lattes here. My favorite is a toss up between the strawberry shortcake and the mousse...oh and the lattes. Oh and the empanadas....ok, I've thoroughly enjoyed everything here. The ambience is conducive to working in the computer, hanging out with friends, or reading a book - I've done all 3 at different times. Staff is gracious and attentive. Gees, I have never thrown away chocolate chip cookies, but these were that bad. However the mocha I ordered was excellent so the grades averaged to 3 star. Bible study meets hospital cafeteria as for the environment. Not the most comfortable setting. I got the chocolate croissant which was amazing + honestly the food and pastries all looked very good. The iced caramel latte i got went with the hospital cafeteria vibe ...just bleh. I have always had a great experience here until today... I ordered a salad, warm croissant and chai tea. My brother ordered an sandwich. They brought one thing out at a time except for my salad. My brother finished half his sandwich and I called the hostess over and asked if she would check on my salad. She said salads take 15 minutes and walked away. About 5 minutes later the server finally came over and I asked where was my salad. She went to check on it and told me the ticket had been lost. She told me they would take the salad off but came back and said the owner would only take off half... The entire situation wasn't handled well and I'm not sure I'll be returning. The ambiance when I walked in was incredible. They have a cozy feel, nice art on the walls, and baked goods all around. Our waiter, Jill, cheerfully answered all of our questions. It doesn't look very exciting from the outside and the atmosphere is simple and minimalistic cafe decor. When I saw they had crepes on the menu, I had to try them. The chicken crepes were amazing! Super tasty with just the perfect balance of chicken and sauce wrapped in a beautiful crepe! The guava pastry was so delicious and wished I had gotten some to go. The lavender vanilla latte was balanced and satisfying. I am a Jura coffee snob and pretty picky about my coffee, so when I am happy about restaurant coffee that's saying something! The cakes and macarons looked very fancy but didn't have the room to eat another thing. Met the owner and told him how great everything tasted and wished he would bring this to Jacksonville! Blown away. Came for a quick breakfast with friends and had some of the best food of my life. All of the bakery items were fresh my son picked the chocolate croissant and a blueberry muffin, both were amazing, moist, fluffy, and flavorful. I ordered a lavender latte and the presentation was beautiful but the flavor was even better. I also had a veggie omelette with bacon and wheat toast. The omelet was huge and was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was amazing, they put up with our three toddlers running around and were spot on when cleaning up or providing with silverware. The coffee and food is good. I'll give it that. Good spot for a girls brunch for coffee and pastries and stuff. But fellas, save yourself the hassle by not going or eat before coming here. I was trying to be nice when I would speak to the workers so as not to encourage further poor service but it made no difference. Ive been here multiple times and the service is consistently missing. The food comes out quickly but they're constantly forgetting things you ask for, not cleaning up after you, not refilling your drinks, waiting way too long for someone to come to our table just to greet us and take drink orders, not checking on us while we're eating, etc. As I mentioned before, the food is good. But it's insulting portions. Today I ordered the panini and paid an extra $2 for eggs on it. Not only was it overpriced with the egg but I would've been pissed if I didn't add the egg bc all you get is 2 pieces of sausage with cheese if you don't. That's $8 ($10 with the egg add-on). And the amount of tater tot's was laughable. The plate was more open that it was covered with food and to add insult to injury, the amount of ketchup they provided was proportionate to the weak amount of taters with my sandwich. That tells me they KNEW what they were doing. Even my wife laughed when she saw my meal and she had been telling me to stop the whole meal after everything they kept messing up. All that to say, I know Biden has screwed up our economy (stop voting for the half dead lizard or anyone he supports) but I know of places doing completely fine with better servings AND way better service. If you cant heap on the food, at least make me feel appreciated for being there, I understand times are tough. I'm living in the same economy and don't want to spend my hard earned money somewhere like this. Won't be returning. 3 stars for taste of food and coffee. Very neat bakery. Everything is innovative, flavorful and beautiful. We dropped by Valentines afternoon for some coffee, tea and pastries and it was great. The interior is very well done, attractive and comfortable. We had dropped by a few days earlier to pick up some deserts for a dinner and found the shelves almost bare - so we went away disappointing. Nice bakery with many choices. I tried the fruit tart - it has to be one of the best I've ever tasted. The fruit was fresh and definitely a higher quality pick. The inside of the fruit tart included a berry compote type filling - also delicious! My only hope is that as they grow, all of their staff have a vast knowledge of their ingredients and the allergens in each. Additionally, it appeared that the fish tray hadn't been emptied in quite a while. It was a bit difficult to find at first but it is located on the North side of the building attached to Napa Auto Parts. A few people were in the bakery working on their computers. The food is amazing. There is very little wait for your order. My MIL literally lives across the street. We had a huge breakfast order, by the time we got home with it they had called multiple times because they haven't left out part of our order and they wanted to know they had it for us. We were in no rush to get it so it wasn't a big deal. At the same time we were checking our food and noticed the pancake we had ordered for my son had been placed in styrofoam and had actually started to melt through it. At this point I walked across the street to grab the missing pet of our order as well as let the know about the pancake issue. Without hesitation they apologized about the issue and corrected it. Loved the Triple Chocolate Brownie as well. The Crème DeLeche was delicious but the coffee liquor makes the cake a little soggy. Also recommend a Kids Menu for the library crowd next door... And turn the counter sideways to introduce seating as soon as possible. This could become a great Neighborhood Gathering Place with the right touches and we really hope it makes it here. Thanks!
