My experience has always been if the cashier forgets to mention the need for bags and the transaction is completed it's courtesy to give you a bag or a box to put your items in. It was a ridiculous situation as was the feeling I from the cashier, that store is a ridiculous place.

They are a Regence Blue Shield Preferred Pharmacy so have similar rates to the larger pharmacies in town-only without the wait time! You may pay a tiny bit more but it's worth it to me to support local. The store has much of the standard items you'd find in a drug store plus some really cute specialty items that you wouldn't find at a chain drug store.

Your water program is very misleading and on top of it, we received the worst customer service at your Winston location. After trying to ask why I could not get my deposit back, an older lady up front was very rude argumentative and refused to call the manager to the front of the store. I had to walk around the whole store to find the manager since she wouldn't call him. I will never purchase or spend a penny in this establishment again. Pretty sad, because your company has a good reputation in this small community. Total disappointment. I feel robbed of almost $30!

But this store is clean, has fun non-food items, cheesy slogans, great produce and real bargains! You need to learn the system. They have some foods on a regular basis but other items are added as they get them. You can't get other things-like big heavy garbage bags. But like Kim G said if Grocery Outlet in another town, Watch expiration dates! I never thought to check but found some can be close! But salads and some produce have been good. For some reason they have better russet potatoes and they had broccoli that tasted picked out of the field! Who knew??
