Based on this experience, I would not recommend this business. Customers deserve honesty and clear pricing before any work begins. Clarence was combative and rude, completely took advantage of the situation and did not accept any responsability whatsoever. Stay away from this "business". 2/25/26 Since you took the time to TRY to excuse your bad business ethics, I will respond to your response. AGAIN, BEFORE (prior) you work on any vehicle, you should give the client the pricing. NOT just work on the vehicle and then inflate the price by MORE than double what you stated. You never, ever contacted either my husband or I to tell us it would be $325 prior to starting to work on the car. You could have knocked on the door to let me know you looked at the damage and it would be more than DOUBLE what you estimated on the phone. The first thing you said when I came out to greet you was "Did he send you the money?" Also, please stop texting him with your passive aggressiveness- "thank you for the 1 star review" Yes, the 1 star review you COMPLETELY deserve as I want to warn everyone I can that your business ethic is shady and I would hate for anyone to get taken advantage of like you did to me. 100%. Again, stop messaging with your passive aggressive texts- this just goes to further prove how unprofessional you are. I also have the texts you sent my husband which DO NOT show anything about the price being $325 whatsoever. You never, ever told us it would be $325 PRIOR to working on the car. As u mentioned in the private message you sent me a few hours ago, you "assumed" he had sent me more money than the original $150. As I told u on my message, I have a camera outside that recorded the interaction- as well as the text messages between you and my husband that do not show u EVER stated it would be $325. AVOID LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE. Mr Carter is con man. Ruined my bumper by turning what he calls a scratch (HE NEVER NOTED IT ON HIS PROFESSIONAL INSPECTION) INTO A MAJOR CRACK IN MY PAINT. He conveniently discovered it when he insisted I go to the Bank and pay him in cash. This shoud have posted a warning. Never got a quote or a receipt.(Iwonder why??? Clarence was professional and most importantly he was honest. If you have a dent and you like to have the convenience of not leaving work or home, you need to call Clarence. He was on time, spent more time than he originally estimated because he needed to ensure the finished product was as perfect as possible. I had a very complicated dent on a 2018 Mercedes GLE 43 right on the body line. This was not an easy fix. Mercedes Benz quoted me 500-1250 to repair. Clarence quoted me 350/400 and I the end charged me 300 for a job well done. As to can see from the pictures is was a pretty nasty dent in a tough spot, the after pictures will tell a better story.
