I really enjoy going to Five Seasons. I have been a member there 20 or more years. I understand…read moreit is a Tennis Club. It does offer other services though. I go to the club for the Yoga Classes. Before Covid there were so many great classes. I truly understand all classes were suspended as ordered. The problem is the club will not bring back classes. There are very few classes only now although all of us have asked, filled out cards and expressed an interest to stay there for their classes. They are losing members and will continue to with local competition. It's sad actually for this club.

However I have come to my breaking point. The club caters to the older members solely and I am over it. It is not kid friendly at all. The grumpy older members are constantly complaining when the children are swimming in the pool or playing basketball on the court, because they are too loud. What the club fails to see is that the younger members with families are the ones who bring the money to the club, we are the ones who purchase the $20 chicken tenders from the snack bar and pay for the outrageous tennis lessons while the older members sit all day and drink free coffee and play cards. They need to wake up and see that their are other options for families if they aren't interested in their business.

Needed to get stronger to avoid injury at work, and this gym is more than meeting my expectations towards that objective after almost two months. Staff and other members are all very helpful. Equipment is well maintained. Washcloths and disinfectant solution always available to wipe down equipment after use to leave clean and ready for next user. There are clean bathrooms for changing clothes, etc., and two private showers. They have well earned these 5 star reviews.

While out…read morehere, I knew that my sanity would be dependent upon my ability to get some good workouts in. While I also have a membership with LA Fitness (Esporta), there's something special about going to an Anytime fitness. While I've visited numerous locations throughout California, I have to say that the customer service in this particular facility was far beyond what I had hoped to experience. Upon walking in, Jim (GM) was sure to greet me in a way that felt inviting, not pressuring. After a brief conversation, I decided to make myself familiar with the facility. Here's where Anytime fitness, in general, totally rocks it. They had an apparatus called the mace. I've been in the fitness industry for almost 3 decades, and have never learned to use it. I asked Jim if he would be able to give me a brief lesson. He was forthright and letting me know that he was not the most suitable instructor for that particular tool, and how to use it. He then, however, proceeded to introduce me to one of the facilities trained instructors. Tony is certified in using the mace. He took me through a mini session and got me on my way to finally using this tool. I'm a stickler for how people teach others to do things that could potentially be extremely harmful to themselves. I'm sure many of you have seen what I call "rep counters". You know, the ones with the clipboard in hand, who are simply counting out loud each of your reps while they're looking at some hottie across the gym. Not the case here. Tony was incredibly attentive to every single inch of movement I was making, to ensure that I did not hurt myself, and received the most effective results from that particular exercise. The facility was extremely clean and fully equipped with just about every apparatus available for functional training, as well as your typical machines. While I'm out here, this is definitely my spot. Worth the 25 minute drive from where I'm staying.
