    Giant metal Pumpkin

Fun place for fall stuff for the family. Tons of pumpkins and gourdes to choose from. They sell some homemade jams, jellies, honey, and pickled veggies to,take home. There is a corn maze for kids to try ($5 seems high). My son liked all the "monsters" all over the property. Besides the you pick Concord grapes (we did not try) I am unsure what else they have as far as you pick during the different harvest periods.

    a pile of pumpkins

Beautiful pumpkin patch- you can pick your own or choose from the many that they grow and have already picked for you - many varieties- White, green, warty, cinderella, giant , tiny....... You get the idea. Corn stalks, wheat stalks, cut your own zinnias- Corn maze, games Beautiful picturesque setting.

We come here every year and have a blast, they have great deals on pumpkins, horse rides for the kids, hay rides and great monsters during halloween.

The most beautiful we have ever seen.

Great fun for kids and adults. The dinosaur corn maze was challenging and exciting. The kids loved the train and tractor rides.

Hubby thought we should check it out as Halloween is my favorite time of year and the corn maze sounded fun.

Plus they have a lot of unique items you don't find at the local store - donut peaches, many variety of plums. Fun little stop to try something new.

Negative…read morereviews make me sad to see when the complaints don't have much to do with what the business is there for, yet a one star review is posted. For example, I, too, own a dog, so I can empathize when I fear for my dog's (or the other's) safety. It's sad to read someone had a mishap with the owner's on-site dog, but the patron chose to take his dog into the store (even with permission). Sounds like dogs were just being dogs. Doubt any injury occurred outside of the local dog warning the other he was on his turf. Organic complaints? I love organic, but we live in the Midwest, not Southern California where groceries and produce stands are oozing with organic-everything because the produce has a short journey. But, if you MUST have organic produce, hunt a location specifically catering to that need. It will be more expensive and not likely right off the Red Arrow Hwy down the road from a popular state park and campground. Sometimes you have to "rough it" like we did decades ago or pack a suitcase of organic food so you're not disappointed while traveling. I'm grateful the store is there, so it gets 5 stars from me.

Anyways we had a beautiful dinner and I'll list my menu as a sample, but I am sure yours will be different and equally as wonderful: *Cool Farm Kale Chips *Cherry Tomato (Radish, Pickled Pearl Onion, Cured Salmon, Arugula Microgreens) *Crispy Rice Salad (Kale, Cabbage, Cucumber, Carrot, Pickled Green Strawberry, Tahini Dressing) *Semolina Gnocchi (Eggplant Caponata, Cotija) *Roasted Chicken and Kohlrabi (Olive Chimichurri, Apricot) *Basil Custard (Pistachio Toffee, Black Raspberry, Fried Basil) Fun fact - Granor is portmanteau of the founders' daughters name: Grace + Eleanor! Parking was surprisingly easy, and once we got started, it was a block and a half of a good time. Now, we did not buy much, but we did enjoy seeing everything and talking to a few people. We were especially excited to buy fruit directly from the farmers! I got a bunch of peaches and nectarines, and let me say I have never in my life tasted such good fruit! I also tried the homemade strawberry & rhubarb pie, and bought the homemade honey with cinnamon. I also especially liked how the Farmer's Market overlooked Silver Beach. This Market is a year-round affair, so you can get Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (FFV) during the summer and fall months right from local growers; in the off seasons they purchase out of state FFV and thus are still able to offer better produce than one usually finds in the big supermarkets. This particular Farmer's Market is enclosed - as it would have to be to be year-round in the Midwest. There are roughly 50 individual sellers in the entire setup - which is laid out as a pair of stacked boxes - the middle being washrooms and the like. All the stalls face inside in a double row ... the center portion of the boxes being where sellers can back up their trucks. There is a little diner restaurant on one side that offers a bunch of nice meals - breakfast food and when we were there pulled pork nachos (yum). There is also a bakery stall. They have parking on site, but it is just barely enough for the crowds the Market attracts. We liked this market because it really was mostly FFV and not a bunch of stalls selling candles and the like. There even are a couple of stalls selling meat - at least one fresh and one frozen. Give this place a try and you'll like it.
