    Philly steak sandwich

Stopped in on Thursday for lunch and this place was hopping. Filled with an older crowd, tells me good food and affordable prices. Huge variety of items on menu and breakfast all day. I had the Philly steak sandwich and opted for soup instead of fries. Service , though busy was fast and friendly. Food was just as I expected good and affordable!

2 pc chicken dinner.mashed potatoes with white gravy and salad about $13

A big open spacious dining room. Tables were not crowded together. Our server a young man thought his name was Brett or Bryce sorry buddy was very sweet and it seemed like he was new because he seemed to get embarrassed every time he asked us a question. We ordered the ribs and the two piece chicken dinner they were fabulous. The staff is very friendly the food came out hot the prices were very reasonable. If you're ever in Cameron Missouri make sure you stop there I don't think you'll be disappointed

Lemon meringue pie - very lemony!

I would have given them 5 stars but I was not comfortable with the social distancing. Not a mask in sight, including the staff and I was back-to-back with someone in an adjacent booth. Great menu for a diner with something for everyone. Lots of families and kids running around, and I can see why. My catfish dinner was under $10 and with a beverage and pie my tab was $16 which was very reasonable. The fish was perfectly breaded and fried, and the sides were excellent. The lemon meringue pie was very lemony and the meringue light and fluffy. The crust was crumbly, not flaky, but very good. Highly recommended if you are not looking for social distancing during the pandemic.

Awesome! Can't say enough good things about this joint, always packed always good food and service. Worth the drive.

Fried chicken-dark with fries and hash-browns.

Had a great meal with great service. The fried chicken does take a little extra time to cook but it was worth the wait. It had great seasoning and crisp. The portion sizes were very large. My daughter had the Alfredo and my wife the chicken parmigiana The chicken was good. Ask for Ranch to dip the fried chicken and it will take you to a whole new level. I ordered all dark and it came with two thighs and two legs. The fries were better than the hash-browns. The hash-browns are typical diner hash-browns.

Food was good. Reasonable prices. Won't be back because it's too far away. Oh the way back from Omaha.

Inside it is tiny with as many tables as the converted gas station could hold. Most of them were occupied with locals AND visitors alike having a bite. Avery, our server, was fast with our drinks and patient while we ordered. I had unsweet, freshly made, iced tea with their Reuben Burger and tots. My Wife had the Patty Melt with tots, my Son had their Hornet Burger with a Sting and fries, while my Daughter had chicken fingers and fries. They came out in a short time after the order being placed ... quite hot and very fresh. I laid into mine with gusto. The rye bread was buttery and toasted to give it a crispy bite with the tangy sauerkraut snap and a creamy thousand island dressing complimenting the swiss cheese melted over a beef patty that oozed just enough to make the bite juicier than it really was. Kathy herself came out to chat with us for a few minutes in-between orders. She happily regaled us with her start up out of a food truck in 2015 and how she moved into the brick and mortar place when it came available. She and her two waitstaff buzzed like busy bees during service and looked like a well oiled team getting every glass refilled and orders placed on the table. If I EVER come back to Hamilton for additional quilting expeditions, Kathy's Kitchen will be in the agenda for breakfast and lunch. Stop by if you are in Hamilton. You won't be disappointed. Ciao, Darrell
