It seems like Dinosaur Designs have been here forever, stocking their signature resin jewellery, little pots and bowls. Handmade in Sydney out of resin, no two pieces are the same, and the swirls of colours are quite beautiful. The store's gorgeous too, the furniture's all pod-shaped, and you can pick up and feel the texture of some of the pieces. They even recommend moisturising them to keep the sheen!
Not cheap, but not as pricey as you might expect for designer jewellery, a ring might set you back about $50, a bracelet about $110. And you'll have your own little bit of Australian design history. They make great Australian souvenirs for the glamorous too, beats leopardskin ugg boots or cane toad leather coin purses hands down.
