Close to the entrance on Anderson Street, Schneider's sells a small variety of jewelry, clocks and watches, but also does repair (which looks like the main portion of their business). It took a couple of days to repair the necklace, but when I got it back it was just as good as new. They did a good job, but it was a little pricey for what needed to be done. I'm sure there are other places in the city that are less expensive, but if you are in the Chatswood area, Schneider's does a good job for both jewelry and watch battery repair.

Now they are a newsagency, an agent for a dry cleaners, sell fresh fruit and vegetables and they also offer home delivery - which is rare these days. Conveniently located just off the main road with its own angle parking in front of the shop, it is ideal for picking up something on the way home or or older customers, a little bit of shopping so they don't have to go to one of the majors.
