This seems to be quite a unique service. Ok so I didn't buy anything from here but I did have a good nosey in to see what this was all about. Basically if you're after some cool antique doors for your house, then this place has you covered. They have loads of doors in stock all ready and will paint and treat these for you - all ready to make your house go bling! If you're in the area - POD across and down the road is an excellent option for food, drinks and coffee. read more

Took our 3 wardrobe doors here and they are totally ruined. Kept getting fobbed off on phone and when went to collect no one in charge to speak to. No apology or anything. I cannot stress enough what an unprofessional business this is. Stay clear of this place. read more

Good finish, good service, good value for money. We love our doors now and are so glad we dipped them rather than buying new ones. It's refreshishing to have such a swift and hassle free service. Glad we ignored previous reviews. Thank you! read more

Well, at least he answered my phone calls! Firstly, I got there at 4.20pm yesterday expecting them to be open the sign outside the yard clearly says that they're open 9am-6pm. Rang the mobile number, to be told that they only open 9am-4pm Mon-Fri. Without a hint of apology. Would they be open tomorrow? Yes. So I got there at 9am today with a car full of doors. Nothing. Rang up. Was told that someone would be there in a moment. Waited until 9.25am. No sign of anyone. So I went back home, unloaded the doors, and drove to work. Will they be getting my custom? Nope. Will try Strippadoor in Stockport instead. One star for their service (can't rate any lower), but a second for at least answering the phone. I should also mention that there's absolutely no parking outside Dip a Door while there are places you can leave your car on the pavement (and on the cobbles down the side of Levenshulme station), I wouldn't want to leave it there unattended in case a warden came along! read more

Absolutely useless this lot,quoted me three days to dip a door 8 days later still no door never answers his phone or gets back to you and his landline diverts to his mobile at ALL TIMES so even when though he doesn't answer it cos it goes to voicemail it still costs 25p a time which given the amount of times you have have call the idiot it ends up costing more than the door dipping. Take my advice go elsewhere, wish someelse had done one of these ratings that I could have read would have saved myself a fortune as ended up buying new doors. read more
