The cherry tomatoes on my buffalina pizza had a sweet sugary flavor profile. And the Buffalo mozzarella was thin skinned with a soft milky interior, just the way it should be. The sauce was simple--fresh tomatoes puréed. And it's like they knew me, because the condiment they brought to thr table was pimento oil, because I love being emotional when I eat. Unfortunately, this course was a big disappointment. It looked wonderful when it arrived, but it just didn't live up to the expectations set by the many excellent meals I've had here over the years. The pasta was a bit too al dente for my taste, and overall, the dish simply didn't deliver the flavor or enjoyment I was expecting. I still have very fond feelings about this restaurant and hope tonight was simply an off night. Unfortunately, I didn't get a photo of the entree, but it was beautiful!
