The care was great but when I got my bill I was furious! They charge $425.00 for an office visit! I was told I was a new patient. I said I had been in almost 4 years ago. They said they charge everyone that hadn't been in for 3 years as a new customer. I told them it's not every year you need an orthopedist? I also understand they are classified as a specialist but my God that price is absolutely absurd! I've seen in previous reply's that they say they are transparent in their pricing ~ no one told me when I came walk in that it would cost me $425.00! If they would have I would have walked right out the door! I will never refer anyone to any of these DOC locations! Word of mouth goes a long way! read more

The positives: no appointment, just walked in. Got x-rays on the spot and they showed them to us on an iPad. The negatives: was handed a 'boot' for my son's ankle, wasn't given an option to buy it elsewhere. Ended up paying around $450 (out of my pocket since insurance only paid a small portion). And later saw that I could've bought the same boot on Amazon for around $60! Wow. Also then had two follow up appointments with very high bills. read more

Great experience for my first visit. Got x-rays and met with a PA, fitted with a specialized shoe for a sprained ligament in my foot, in less than an hour. Two-week follow-up was even quicker. The receptionists were nice enough, but the back office staff were super friendly and did a great job of explaining the plan for recovery. It was nice to be able to walk in without having to worry about an appointment or referral. The convenience is what may be the reason for a higher cost that others complain about, but for me, I'm okay with that if it means I'm not waiting weeks in pain for an appointment or hours in a waiting room for an unplanned injury and visit. read more

I came in March with pain my wrist. I did everything they told me to do and I was still struggling with pain in August. I go into the doc after work since I just started a new job and couldn't come in until 415/430. The pa told me they wouldn't do anything because the dr wasn't there. I decided to make the drive to Boise as the pain is hindering everything. i wenf to St Luke's orthopedic walk in. The Pa there was wonderful, said let's try a cortisone shot as you have tried everything already, and guess what, my pain is gone. I will for now on make the drive to Boise as they were willing to help and when I got there it was 530! read more

Tom PA-c was rude and sarcastic, worst bedside manner ever. Almost walked out, but they took xrays and we would have had to repeat at the ER. Tom was condescending and dismissive. He clearly does not respect his patients. read more

Went in to find out why my husband heard a pop in his knee. After looking at the X-ray the provider decided to give him a cortisone shot. He proceeded to prep the syringe after sneezing into his hands twice and not washing his hands. We won't be back. read more

My Spouse went in for a hand fracture, because of the nature of their job, they can't work unless a doc clears them. The doctor at DOC has been stringing my spouse along for weeks now, continually making new appointments and scheduling new x-rays, all the while telling them that they can't go back to work because they "might trip and fall on their hand", that can literally happen anywhere. Seems like a money maker service to me, control rate of recovery, keep the customer coming back for more charges, all the while endangering their livelihood. Take my advice, spend the extra time and go see a doctor at a real hospital so you don't get "mother henned" into bankruptcy. read more

Dr. Mark Williams and his assistant were wonderful! ( for them!) They were kind, funny, and very knowledgeable and thorough. Unfortunately, the billing department seems to be disorganized (zero stars for them). Despite having both a Medicare Advantage plan as primary and Idaho Medicaid as secondary insurance, I received a surprise bill for over $200 because they claim I needed a referral to utilize Medicaid, which I was never informed about. I had three separate visits across three months for my hip pain, and not once was I informed of any billing issues. This lack of communication has caused unnecessary stress and is a major financial burden for someone like me who is disabled and on a fixed income. While I highly recommend Dr. Mark Williams for his expertise and bedside manner, the billing department needs significant improvement to ensure clear communication with patients about insurance coverage and potential out-of-pocket costs. read more

out gardening and my left foot suddenly became extremely painful and couldn't remember doing anything that would bring the pain about so quickly. I knew that an ER would keep me for hours before deciding they didn't know what to do. Opted for DOC in Nampa and within less than half hour I had xrays and the amazing PA (sorry, doc, don't remember your name) had me diagnosed and suggested treatment and I was on my way. He explained to me through my exam and rays that I had Morton's - weird! I went to the shoe store he recommended and put on a pair of Dansko's and the pain was immediately almost back to normal. Would suggest these folks for anyone with any ortho probs. read more

I called to see if I could make an appointment to be seen and was told appointments were weeks out, and that if it was urgent I needed to be a walk in. I walk in and have to wait for close to 2 hours in the waiting room to be seen. They took x-rays but tell me that the swelling was so bad they couldn't tell if it was broken or not and that I would need to come back in two weeks. I go back for that follow up and was told that even if it is broken then will just tell me to keep wearing the boot that I was already wearing and sent me on my way. Over two visits I didn't receive any actual treatment, and then received a bill for $600. read more

Very convenient hours, Very reasonable and Extremely competent staff. A real gem for the community.

We have used DOC several times as it is convienant to our home and you don't need an appointment. Dr. Williams is Amazing . He has fixed my shoulder, my hip, and my wrist over the past few years. He has extensive experience, he starts consertive in treatment but stays with it until you have the best results. My daughter is a gymnast and has injured her ankle and he saw her quickly and treated the sprain. He provided written instructions to her coach for best healing results. If I could leave 0 stars I would this place is horrible scam! They claim don't go to the hospital to be referred out come to us! Well we went to them for my 11yr old son who broke his pinky, they examined the x-rays that we provided, referred us to another orthopedic doctor and re-wrapped my son's finger, they billed my insurance $950! Our insurance discount brought it down to $401. So if I didn't have insurance I would have paid $950 for nothing. No wonder our insurance prices & deductibles are out of control. Now I get to pay $401 for basically a referral to a real Doctor! Shame on you! read more

I want to commend DOC for the excellent care my 87 year old mother received from their office. They spent the time to really determine where her pain was and worked immediately to help resolve the pain. Her chronic back pain is gone after years of suffering!!! I had a painful lump on my lower back pain from a sports injury. My PCP didn't know what it was. I went and saw Dr. Williams at the Nampa DOC. He and all the staff were great and very helpful. Dr. Williams was able to diagnose the problem and injected the lump on my back with cortisone. The procedure was painless, and I have been pain free. I am able to run with out pain and very pleased with the care. Thanks DOC!! read more

Took my wife here after a fall, they told us she sprained her ankle and charged us over $400.00. Several months later as it got worse we went to Idaho foot and ankle who found a broken off bone and 3 torn ligaments, surgery needed. DOC you should be ashamed of yourselfs and I will tell everybody not to go to your clinics! read more

I would give DOC less than 1 star. I saw a provider in Nampa on 11/6/18 due to a back injury that left me unable stand up straight or bend over. They did a history, performed X-rays and prescribed meds. The provider Scott Ward, PA never did a physical assessment; however charted an assessment. My insurance paid their portion, but I am still left with a lot. This is falsifying documentation and fraud for charging for services that were never performed. I could have got better care somewhere else. I do not recommend going to DOC. read more
