This dealership and it's service department is just a piece of you know what! We decided to take my…read morewife's Buick in to this dealer as it was the one nearest the house. I had the car diagnosed for free from O'Reilly's, which prompted the trip to the dealer. We took the car in on late Friday before they closed, knowing we would have to wait until Monday to hear anything. Come Monday, not a word. I called and was told they were terribly busy that morning and should be able to get to it Tuesday. Come Tuesday no call. I call and am now told they will get to it before the day is over and will "hopefully be able to diagnose what the problem is". At this point we have to get a rental as we both work. Wednesday they tell me they have figured out what the problem is and they have to order a part, overall cost around $450. We were going to be out of town Thursday and were planning on getting the car back Friday. I call Friday and the part has yet to be ordered so now we have to wait until Monday again because they are not open Saturday and Sunday. Come Monday, still no part. I'm pretty ticked off at this point and ask what is the problem since they have had the car over a week. I am then told on the part has been ordered and should be there in the morning. I talk to them again and am told by some rude person in the service dept that they can't find the part. I was so tired of hearing their double talk, I just hung up the phone. Had to extend the car rental for a few more days because their ineptitude. I then received a voice mail on my phone telling me the car will be ready for pick up in the morning. We both got out of work around the same time and went to pick up the car. After waiting for someone to come to the service counter we were told they have still been unable to find the part and it might be another week before the car would be repaired. Needless to say my patience was at it's end. I was going to show this person the voice message that said the car was ready for pickup, but this person could have cared less about anything that was previously said. Also mentioned that if I could provide him with 2-3 professional technicians, we could have the car fixed tomorrow. What an ass! I asked him for the keys to the car as we don't plan on them doing anything more. At that point he said he wasn't giving up the keys until the diagnostic fee of $145.00 was paid. $145 for something O'Reilly's does for free. This place should be blackballed as a decent place of business. No one should trust this place. Just look at many of the reviews. The majority are as negative as it gets.

The truck was driven to and work was performed in the shop. The job was worth no more than 300 at most. There was no transparency about pricing upfront, and when I asked for a breakdown or receipt, it was vague at best. To charge that much for labor alone, especially without providing or sourcing the parts, and with the work being done in the comfort of his shop is completely unreasonable and feels like a rip-off. I expected more professionalism, honesty, and fairness. Be cautious--shop around and get everything in writing before agreeing to anything with this mechanic.

He charged us $680 for parts then ended up needed a new drum for one of the tires. It took over a week for him to come back and replace the drum and new brake. He then charged us another $1040 dollars for that part and labor. We later found out that is much higher than should have been paid for parts and labor. We pulled the trailer a few weeks later and had the tire that he replaced the drum on come off. It sheared all but one of the lug nuts and completely destroyed the rim and the brand new drum. We were stranded for over 4 hours waiting for a mobile unit to come and bring us a new drum and lug nuts as we couldn't even put the spare on as there was no way to attach it. We have spent every time we have pulled it since then trying to get the brakes readjusted and now have it in the shop because the brakes were constantly smelling hot and the tires were very hot. He not only ripped us off but has caused us 100's of dollars more trying to get the brakes fixed again. Thankfully we didn't wreck or have our tire hit the other oncoming vechile when it blew past us while we were doing 50mph and crossed over in front of the oncoming car. DO NOT USE HIM!
