The plate costs $9 which is super reasonable compared to what you pay nowadays. I have had several meals and each one has hit like a homemade meal. Baked Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans. They also serve it with a croissant and butter. It's great to have food that feels homemade in an unlikely spot like a Bingo Hall!

You pay the initial cost for a packet of games for the whole night, and there are additional games that you can buy that don't come in the main packet. You can leave whenever you want, but since you've paid for the whole night you might as well settle in and get your money's worth. There's also scratch off games and raffle tickets available. It can feel kind of nickel-and-dimey at first, but anything beyond the main packet is optional. The people here are serious about their bingo. This isn't like casual bingo at a restaurant or bowling alley where you can carry on casually with your friends. Sit down and keep your conversations to a barely audible whisper. There are plenty of monitors for you to see what numbers have been called, but there are some seats that have an obstructed view, or are at a bad angle, so keep that in mind. There's also food available for purchase. I tried the grilled chicken. It was overcooked; I wouldn't get it again. They were out of brats, so that's probably the better choice. There's also lighter snacks and dessert choices. I'll stick with those next time.

If you want my opinion, Player 1 Video Game Bar, in Orlando, is fantastic. It's the quintessential…read moreretro-arcade bar. It's dark, cool, and the themed decor fits the place perfectly. For example, the top of the bar is actually a time line of the history of video games...something to take in while you're throwing back a few adult beverages. Assuming that you're looking to drink a bit, they have an outstanding collection of craft beer, and of course, they have the obligatory "80s themed" cocktails. I haven't quite figured out the food menu. But hey, P1VGB is not really, I don't think, that kind of place. GAMES? They have an excellent selection of old school vids. And whatever the game count, it goes up by 60 because they have at least 1 multigame rig (packaged in a Ms. Pac-Man cabinet). This combo brings you most, if not all, of the blockbuster titles from the 80s. They also have several rare machines. Last but not least, they THE SINGLE ALL TIME GREATEST COIN-OP SPORTS GAME! ATARI FOOTBALL!! Yeah, it's that much fun...I still have callouses and blisters from rolling that big ass track ball back in 1979! Pinball? Well, this is not a pinball palace, but, they do have about 8 to 10 tables. Great titles including Twilight Zone, Haunted House, and Jaws. In addition to the coin-op games that us Gen-Xers grew up with, they have multiple videogame consoles available. For a bar that offers this many games set on free play, admission is very inexpensive. I'd say that at any given time, 5 to 10 percent of the games are down. Not too bad. Located just up the street from Sofrito Latin Cafe, this place is well worth a few hours of time time. 5 stars!

Player one is a video game bar if I didn't mention that earlier normally this bar gets very busy later in the evening however it's not late in the evening so it's not that busy right now. This location is a 21 and up location all the games Inside where the bar is are included in your five dollar price point. They do offer discounts if you work at Disney or Universal, etc., they have some snacks as well as the Chinese food next-door to eat as well. Tonight I decided to have the cider boys caramel apple for seven dollars. It is probably one of my favorite sliders that they currently have and I also tasted the 1911 sugarplum cider. I did not like it though.

The place was packed when we arrived about 30 minutes before the game started, but we lucked out and grabbed the last two seats at the bar. The space is small and cozy, but beautifully decorated with a relaxed, upscale vibe. It's the kind of place where you could enjoy a chill date night or catch up with friends over a glass of wine. They offer a great selection of wines and small bites. My friend and I had our eye on the build-your-own wine flight (five customizable pours), but were told they weren't available that night--even though we noticed others were ordering them. That part was a little confusing, but we rolled with it. I ordered the Lavender Haze, which included Moscato, champagne, lavender lemonade, floral tea, and a fresh lavender sprig--absolutely fabulous. It was light, refreshing, and beautifully balanced. I also had a glass of the Super Jelly wine, which was also very good--smooth and full of flavor. For food, I got the Roasted Ricotta Meatballs, and they did not disappoint. They were perfectly seasoned, tender, and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I'd come back for these alone. The bingo game was fun and brought great energy to the room. It made for a memorable and relaxed night out with delicious food and drinks in a laid-back setting.
