Mojo's own Shih Tzu's, so therefore knowing the breed & how to groom/clip/style them is a such a bonus. Having said that, every dog breed I've seen coming out from here all look & smell divine. Mojo's are not your ordinary groomers like so many salons or mobile groomers around. These guys are professional stylists & there's a HUGE difference between those other groomers & the styling grooming you get here. Both Marianne & Josh are both incredibly friendly, helpful lovely people & their love of dogs is SO very obvious. As an ex Persian cat Breeder/Groomer/Show person, I very highly recommend MOJO'S!!

I returned to Mojo's salon after waiting two and a half hours to find my poor dog had not been done at all, and told by the agitated groomer he would never groom the little dog ever again due to the dog's age. Why did he accept my last booking then? So upsetting! I was stunned! Loyalty as a compliant customer didn't count for anything. I have since found a lovely, patient, caring female groomer who does a wonderful groom in half the time and for 2/3 of Mojos' ever-increasing fees. Seriously, check out other groomers if you have a senior dog who needs care, otherwise you'll be sidelined.

And the experience I had was amazing! Dropping Harold off to the care of strangers is a little nerve-racking as Bulldogs have special needs, however the friendly team at Dogcity let me know that he was in safe hands and that I would receive updates during the day, reassured, I left feeling confidant Harold was going to have a great day! The energy and excitement in the centre was amazing, you could really tell that these people love what they do. Before I left for work, I had a look through the viewing window and Harold was already running a muck with his new friends. The thing that took this experience from good to brilliant, was the level of personalised communication I received. During the day, "Harold" sent me a text message with some photos of his new friends (who knew dogs had such skills!): Hi Mum, My new friends have let me borrow the work phone so that I could send you a message; I told them that I'm fine and would rather keep playing, but they've said that it's always important to let Mum's know. Apparently you guys worry about us or something. I'm having the best time. Heston is here and we've both been body slamming. They have a bunch of tennis balls here too, so I've been slobbering over all of those and carrying them around. Some weeks before someone recommended Walkerville Vet if I ever needed one. It was 12.15 on a Saturday. I phoned they close at 1pm and were booked. Told them about George's eye and was told to bring him in. Saw Claire, she was wonderful explained he would need surgery, gave medication to make him comfortable. Claire put us at ease. So pleased that the Walkerville Vet was recommended. Their prices are very reasonable too.

I love him as much as he loves me though so I don't dress him up other than necessary (in winter it is necessary as he is a skinny little man and gets cold so he has a jacket that says "REBEL"; and on Christmas I have been known to make him wear a scrunchy to demonstrate yuletide cheer... don't judge me, it's adorable). So there's really no reason for me to go to Bark Avenue. But I do! The staff are friendly to both two and four legged patrons and have water out front for doggy passersby. The place is wall to wall with canine couture and accessories, and pooch paraphernalia. It's not a big shop but it has more than enough room to cater for bold and beautiful bitches.

Dr Chris and his team…read morehave been looking after our dogs for just under 10 years now, from puppy preschool to senior dogs they have been so wonderful and caring, we have followed every bit of their advice and our furry family have always been healthy and happy. Recently Poppy developed a rare cancer and has now passed away, we were inconsolable but comforted by how caring the team at Pet Universe were especially Dr Chris who took the time to call recently and see how we were doing and even sent flowers. We can't thank Dr Chris and everyone enough for the care we have always received and for the care we know we will get in the future - Thank you ! :)
