After our carpet dried we noticed patches of discoloration in high traffic areas, so we called Floor Covering Technologies. They explained that the last time we had the carpet cleaned (by another company) they used a cleaning fluid of high pH. When the residue soap mixed with the new cleaner it made a precipitate in the carpet. A Floor Covering tech came back to the house and cleaned the residue in the carpet. They cover a large area throughout East Tennessee and the estimate process can last a while; given their attention to detail and planning of different options for the various home owners. They will not rush their estimates and take their time to try and create a build to match the vision(s) of the specific homeowners. Because of the attention to their customer's vision(s), we also experienced some untimeliness on our first estimate but, feel it was totally worth the wait. We've experienced a lot of no shows and non-communication from other contractors but, that's typical of construction businesses in this area. Sometimes you just have to be patient and with Estrada IT IS WORTH THE WAIT!! Ultimately, Estrada Decking built a beautiful new deck for our home, about a year ago, and we couldn't be happier with the experience and final result. We were so happy with their work that we contacted them again to provide an estimate for a matching lower deck. And, like the first estimate, we had to wait a little while to get them out but, once they arrived, we discussed several options for creating something that WE would be happy with. The initial scheduling was for 12:00 till 2:00. I received the first notice and the time was 2:00…read moretill 4:00. On the morning of the service call, it was changed to 10:00 till 12:00....the technician arrived at 4:30. I Was initially quoted $550 for replacing two flush kits in two bathrooms. After completing the service, I was advised that the iPad had erroneously given me the "Member" price and my actual cost would be $675. I have been advised that the $550 quote was an extreme price for the service call. I later requested an itemized bill and was told "We don't do that" My initial intent was to use a local company, I learned the plumbing service was provided by a company out of Nashville. I have no issues with the work that was done, I do have concerns about how I was charged for this service call, and their lack of openness on how I was billed.

They installed a tankless hot water heater a year ago. They installed it incorrectly. They put an…read moreadapter under the sink closest to the water heater. It should have been the furthest faucet. It was not needed, but due to there incompetence that was their solution. They came out a year later to change the filter it was$300. We thought that would be also for maintenance. No, that would be another $300 dollars. We finally found a plumbing company that corrected everything they did wrong. We now have instant hot water. A pipe that they tapped off was needed and was reattach to the unit. I would not recommend them for anything.
