They came out to take care of a water damage claim. It was rough on my parents in the beginning. I went out to their house later on and the job wasn't that bad but it wasn't what my parents wanted. I contacted Jake and thought he would be like whatever but he was genuinely concerned about their concerns and immediately came out to remediate any issues. Bad communication trys to way over charge and removed a toilet 3by4 feet of hardwood 1 by 4 feet of drywall and turned fans on left this was two weeks ago and would not respond to my messages or phone calls for a number on the work they have done already till my estimate came in and the little they did was not proper mitigation and it took bout 1 hour no over head for what they did do and trying to charge 1,500 for 1 hour labor as well as not doing the mitigation properly or checking other areas for wetness from burst pipe read more

Agree with Robs and Janas post. Website is also misleading.Steele came out twice, gave a quote. took our financial info.Said no problem, they finance. Mind you, the reason we agreed to go with them. is the fact we wanted it financed And Website says they do.And they verbally confirmed they could . Today , after texting Steele, then calling the office. Which I had to call for 2 days, to get response back. Steele texted back, said he was going to send the finance paper work to our email this afternoon for us to go over. Then to my disappointment but not surprised, because of my experience already . I get a text before heading home, that they no longer do financing, But there it still is on their website in big bold letters FINANCING. Steele should have known that, before he even came for initial visit. Keep your employees updated. Instead was of a waist of our time. Now We are back @ square one. My sister hired this company to fix some backup of sewer and drain in the basement of her newly purchased home. They showed up as scheduled the first time and removed approximately 200 sq feet of baseboards, set up 2 large fans and a dehumidifier. The next day they removed about 4" of drywall in 2 rooms equaling about 172 sq feet. They did not remove or dispose of damaged personal property as they said they would. They also never returned to finish the job, including picking up their large fans and dehumidifier. Those have been sitting there for 4 months as of this writing. Her husband finished the job - repairing the drywall, replacing the baseboards, cleanup, and hauling the damaged personal property to the dump - all for around $500. My sister received a text from the owner of the company asking when she was going to pay the invoice sent in October. She was charged $3000 for the little work that they did. Needless to say, she was shocked and upset by the price of the bill. Had she submitted it to insurance as the owner requested, the bill would have been $6000! During this same timeframe, the plumber and his crew of 3 completed their job of determining the root cause of the blockage and repairing it in less than 2 days, and for only $600. Disaster Masters are a complete and total ripoff. I would NOT recommend working with this company. read more
