I took my car in there and there is a leak underneath my car so the man sold me a water pump said my coolant was leaking from the water pump and also said my brake pads and rotors on the car and I had just had my brakes done by the time I got home my car was leaking again it was leaking from the overfilled like the reservoir for the coolant that's where it's leaking from so he sold me a water pump rotors and brakes for the front tires for $650 they are thieves and Liars read more

I'm a 17-year-old girl who got my first car at a salvage title so in order to renew the registration I had to get a brake and lamp inspection to make sure everything was working all right. I went to six places that all gave me false pricing because they thought since I was a girl I didn't know anything about my car when I have rebuilt the engine by myself and put it back in, and they just assumed that I didn't know so they were telling me that my brakes were bad when I literally just replace them and he was trying to tell me that my rotors are bad when I know that they are because I already measured them and they were just trying to do me dirty, I went to this place and "wali" didn't treat me with any disrespect and he seemed like he wanted to help over treat me like I was stupid. I appreciate him and the work that he did. It's hard to get people to understand that you know what you're talking about and it's frustrating when you have to spend time trying to get them to understand that when they should just respect you. But I didn't have that issue here. I recommend this place or your wife or daughter or anybody who is uneducated about cars. They won't take advantage of you not having knowledge. read more

My car broken down towed it to the nearest shop and these folks helped me out able to get back on the road within 2 hours and good price.

I visited this shop for oil change and front breaks, I was quoted $59 for oil change and $150.00 for brakes. However, they call me later with a price of $350.00 for brakes only. I call other places and their price was $250.00 tops that includes turning rotors. These people are thieves, they should be in the loan shark business instead. I will file a complaint with the Bureau of automotive repair. I will never go back to this place. read more

I took my 2012 Honda with 43K Miles here bcuz my car was putt putting. Safi said all 3 cylinders needed to be replaced now and the other 3 might last me awhile and my catalytic converter was cracked. He said he's never seen this on a Honda with 40k Miles on it. I paid 500 for 3 cylinders. Car still ran the same. I took it back and he took my engine apart, then called me and said I needed a new engine. I couldn't afford one so he put my car back together (or so I thought), charged me $90 to do that. I drove out of the shop and my car died in the Walmart parking lot blocks away. I paid another mechanic to fix two blown head gaskets that Safi and his crew apparently did and I have no crack in my catalytic converter. Car rides like new again. What a nightmare. read more

I have been coming here for years. I trusted that they were honest. My 3 brothers said they weren't. I took my brakes to get them fixed and I bought new pads and paid for my rotors and the pads were bad. Went back and had them replace them, they then said it was my callibers that needed to be changed. Red flag. My brakes squeaked every time I used them. Now pads, and rotors aren't working?? Took my car somewhere else and they said I didn't need callibers that they didn't put any ointment in between them so that's why they were squeaking. I almost paid for callibers but Mo just was trying to rip me off. My brakes haven't squeaked since I went to someone honest. This place did my smog check 2 years ago but this time they refused to because the tech did not want to go into the level 2 diagnosis. The tech said it was too hard. I wish the other tech was here. The other man said it was easy and all he had to do was read the directions. The shop is star certified by the state but they don't live up to it. If you have an old car go elsewhere. read more

It is very hard to find a good doctor, dentist, lawyer, plumber and mechanics for your family whom you can trust. I finally found a great auto mechanic in Riverside. Safi at Discount Auto Center has over 15 years of experience and very knowledgeable. Price is very good as well. You can find their coupons on Penny Saver. He is very thorough, and most of all, very honest. He shows you what is wrong with your car and explains to you. Once work is done, he can show you old parts and what he did to your car. This is how I found Discount Auto Center.... I took my van to 7 to 7 auto in Riverside. They replaced its engine and handed me over my van dirty and with scratches on the dashboard. I kept going back there because radiator water was leaking from everywhere. They charged me every time I took it back. I finally gave up and took my van to Safi at Discount Auto center. He found all the leaks and fixed with brand new parts. Also he found Check Engine Lights bulb was missing. When he replaced the light bulb and ran diagnostics, he found 7 codes.!! We could not believed it. Other place (i.e. 7 to 7 Auto) purposely removed it because they did not want to fix it completely. I thank Safi from Discount Auto Center for doing complete check and fixed it once for all. Now the van runs smoothly. I have no hesitation to refer my friends and family to Discount Auto Center. Very bad service on their "specials". Went in for an alignment, then being told I have to pay over $300 plus the alignment again. I said no way. Went to pep boys paid 99.99 with a year warranty, no kit needed out in an hour. Alignment is perfect now. Just couldn't believe they tried to make me pay for part and services I did not need. Never coming back even if my car ever breaks down in front of there shop. read more
