I love Wooster's Discount Drug Mart! Between the deli and pharmacy. It's very hard to beat! Between employees being helpful, prices and quality it's hard to beat! I have been going their for years. I know now a days it's hard to find employees and sometimes the Pharmacy has a long lines but you get through reasonably good timing. I am only giving the pharmacy 1 star because I can't give it 0 stars. Waited in the drive thru line for 75 minutes. There were only 2 cars in front of me. When I finally got to the speaker I told the woman that I was there for a Rx for my son, and told her the name of the medication. After about 5 minutes a guy came back and said it was too early to refill it, that I had to wait 13 more days. That didn't seem right but he insisted that insurance wouldn't cover it. So I parked in the parking lot & called my insurance company. Turns out the pharmacy staff had looked up the wrong medication and the Rx could have been filled the previous day. 75 minutes absolutely wasted by an utterly incompetent pharmacy staff. read more

Before the Covid happened they got rid of the outside benches. I over heard employees saying it was because of panhandlers and homeless people. I confronted the manager and she confirmed that's why they did it. She hates the people that sit outside on the bench and would rather just get rid of the bench than do her job. It's not the benches fault either cuz I constantly still get asked for money out there so it obviously didn't work. They also are the only store in town that locks up their bathroom and makes you ask for a key. They treat the city of Wooster like a bad part of Downtown New York and if they don't want to respect our city then I hope they just decide to close the location and get out. read more

"One Stop Shopping" Seriously folks. This place has everything you need. Clogged drain...they got it? Fishing line running low? They got it. Diluted vodka? They got it. Peanut Butter Whoppers...yep got that too! It's like a NYC bodega meets Walmart. Can't complain because they have all you need but also at good prices. Obviously much more compact than Walmart this place packs a punch. I mean a wall of shaving razor blades...? Convenience! Staff is always nice and it's never very crowded. Do I necessarily find myself shopping in a store that sells recliners and Canadian night crawlers...? no... but she fits my bill when visiting family in Ohio. read more

Today, I came to Drugmart for two things. I walked out of the store with only a mental breakdown. One thing I walked in for was to return or at least exchange the poster board (which was the wrong size) for the next size up. First, I went to the front counter and asked where I could return the poster board to which I was returned with a nasty glare and a condescending "go to aisle 19 desk, I can't do that here". I walked back to (aisle 22 not aisle 19 as she said) and waited there for at least 5 minutes as the woman behind the counter did not do so much as glance my way. Maybe there should've been a bell I could ring to get her attention? Anyways, she finally came over after me waiting there for so long. She took the poster board and my receipt. I had the receipt but did not have the card associated with the receipt. She said that she couldn't do a return or even an exchange without the card. I simply wanted the next biggest poster board and I was willing to pay the 3 extra dollars to do an exchange. If only it stopped there. I needed to go to this Drugmart to print off some pictures for said posterboard as the wrap on the front of the store advertises I should have been able to do. I walked up to the front of the store where the serve yourself photo kiosks are and began attempting to use one. The screen was on but it was tilted upward so I wasn't sure if it was able to be used or not. The cashier behind register 1 gave me a strange look as I tried to work the kiosk and I decided to ask if I could use one to which he replied "photo kiosks are closed for the night." It was 8pm, I understand staffing shortages and everything but when I asked when the photo center closed, he looked around and eventually said "when we figure out staffing". Which is a total non-answer. I had a horrible experience at this Drugmart especially after having so many pleasant ones. I will not be coming back near as often as I used to. Get better. read more

The pharmacy is aweful. Good luck talking with a phamasist! Had a untrained, uncaring girl come to counter. Had to keep going to phamasist for questions. Did he come and ask me? No! He looked at me and sent her back again! So she had to back and ask him 5 questions total! I was Buying the strongest cough medicine and the strongest deconjestant for my sick husband! ...apparantly added me to the "meth" watch list. Please train your upfront people! She was lazy, uncaring, uncomunitive and totally inept! If I could have found a supervisor I would have raised cane!!!! What should have taken 5 minutes took 25. Are you serious? read more

I just waited 45 minutes for prescriptions that were called in 2 hours earlier. That was after I was told they would be ready in 10 minutes!
