She took my payment over the phone and kept the gift certificate at the front desk so that my Mom could call, schedule, and come in to redeem at her convenience. They also have two online purchasing options that I didn't go with as calling and coming in was easier for my mother. She raved about the salon and her therapist Nikki; and since they offer so many services that are so convenient to book it's really simplified gift-giving from across the country for me!

I go to Taylor and she isn't always busy talking to other people about things that have nothing to do with my visit. The concept of in and out, no connection isn't a restful relaxing, take my mind off of mundane things atmostsphere. I can get that at any walk in or Supercuts, I mention that because the original owners of Supercuts were patients of mine and that isn't how they wanted treated. At Revamp I get the feeling every customer is focused on until they walk out the door. Some people love the disconnected service, but if I am going to pay $50-60 dollars for service then I want that service attention. I love going to Revamp and intend to try many of their other services especially the massage and facials.

My 2 1/2 year old cried for less than 45 seconds and despite the fact that we were already told that we would be helped we were told that "today is not going to work because I am on edge and your son is crying and it will be too confusing to cut his hair" ...what!? You "specialize in boys haircuts and can't handle a few tears? The stylist we usually go to knows how to diffuse little boy anxieties. It's not that hard. Most bizarre way to treat someone with little boys who would potentially be a repeat customer. Your loss.

My grandmother has Alzheimer's and dementia, but dad has always talked so highly of how Molly handles grandma. I started taking my son to see Molly for his haircuts whenever we happen to be in town. She first cut his hair when he was about a year old. She's cut it a few times since then and he's 2 1/2 now. Like any toddler, he's squirmy and energetic. He's also always so nervous about the hair tools. But of all the people I've taken my son to for haircuts, Molly does such a wonderful job putting him at ease and cutting his hair. She is super strict about your arrival time (which I understand) but moved my 1st appointment by 1/2 hr because she was running behind. Cancelled my second appt and rebooked to another day. If you,as her client, are 15 minutes late she is charging you 50% of price and insists you rebook. Everything about my few experiences was negative. Prices are high -as if it's a high end experience but that couldn't be further from accurate. I absolutely would never recommend her to even my enemy. The one time I went there, there was a ring of (black)color all around my head. Being a stylist myself, I expect better than that(it's not rocket science to keep my skin from staining). The inside of the salon looks new, but from the outside it looks like a place my grandmother wouldn't even go into(I drove by it TWICE looking for it, because it was so run-down).
