Discount tire has always been a reputable business, but as of late they are becoming a less than trustworthy place to go. Supposed company policy doesn't allow them to service your tire under many conditions unless you agree to purchase a tire from them. Sounds more to me like. Marketing scam to get business but given the fact many places don't carry or offer similar tires of brands your stuck with especially if you roll in on a flat they won't help you unless you agree. Newly noticed as well they sell used tires which I'm sure end up coming from peoples vehicles which " couldn't be fixed". America wonders why businesses are shutting down or can't stay afloat we'll wake up people this is why. When greed and unsavory business practices affect service people stop going to you. If Amazon opens up a tire service guess what discount tires I'm outta here. As for this location from what I can see the only female worker who helped me here is looking to make sales doing whatever to get them so if you have business here avoid her at all costs unless you want to spend money. Update: Just as a side note I came in for flat fix small screw in tire not flat as of yet just a little preventative maintenance and I made an appointment for 12:45 pm it's now 2:00 pm and my vehicle is still sitting in the parking lot so don't waste your time with appointments because walk ins are being seen before me. 45 minutes of that time was wasted with the sales girl trying to rip me off on sales and figuring out how to use the computer. I don't write reviews often, but RUDY was AMAZING. We had rented a car to drive to Carlsbad, NM for my grandpas funeral and got a flat tire a few miles out of town. We urgently rushed to discount tire frantic and not sure what to do. Rudy was so calm and talked us through our choices and helped us so fast to get us back on the road in time to make the funeral. People here are so fast, effective and without the bullshit. Needed new tires. Gentleman walked out, verified model, showed me my options while taking my (broke college student) budget into consideration. While tires were being changed, one of my studs broke in the process of taking off the wheel and I was quickly told and passed on to their partner (?), Brake Masters (off of George Dieter) to get it fixed free of charge after my tire change. They were out of stock with my normal tires because of this covid 19 stuff going on. They sold me even better tires at the same price as my normal tires to make sure I was taken care of and still gave me a military discount. Came here just now Christmas Eve and they helped us right out with a patch to our tire and we showed up 10 min before closing (early for Xmas) and they helped us out with a smile on their face.
