He was able to get me two new tires and took care of the tire with the screw and was way more competitive than discount tire with a warranty. He had me back on the road safely within an hour. On a recent trip through El Paso I had a tire separate on an Airstream travel trailer. Thanks to a local good Samaritan he led me to Tops Tire Wheel from the I-10 freeway. I had a blowout on one of the tires on my 2024 Winnebago Voyage travel trailer during our trip to Houston. While I was waiting for AAA to change the tire for our spare, I got on-line and tried to find a shop that would honor my club 15% discount. Tops was one of the installers listed but the earliest install time was Wednesday. I called and talked to Gus who expedited the tire and kept us informed by e-mail when it was ready ahead of time on Tuesday. The parking lot that was a bit small for our 39' travel trailer but the whole staff helped direct us and other traffic to get us in and out. They also did a complete air check on the other tires. All of this was done in record time and their location is close to I-10 so the impact to our arrival to our campground in Ft. Stockton was minimal. We paid with our Synchrony Bank Car Care Card, accepted without issue, for 6-month terms. Thank you, Gus and staff you really came through for us and saved our vacation. read more

So I had just bought some new rubber for Jezebel and she needed some rims. I called first and spoke with John who gave me some info but requested I go on to actually view what they had. So I drove by this past Saturday and John was there and promptly helped me out to find some beautiful rims to go with my car. They installed them super fast but professionally and they looked great. I came here with a popped tire and was in a crunch to change my tire as I had other obligations that I could not reschedule. The workers there were really nice and professional. They got me a new tire in a very fast time and the price wasn't that bad at all. Only knocking out 1 star because when my tire popped, my tire pressure light came on and when they changed my tire, I said it's still on but they said it'll go away. Rudy the alignment guy is the best tech I have met in a long time. True pro who knows his craft. Very busy place that was recommended by another business around the corner. On a side note after the positive work done by rudy and crew I went back to ask about a tire trade deal on my new truck. Wanted to replace/trade my new tires on my 2016 vehicle for a new set of BFG's. The new truck has Michelins LTX's (with 1K miles on them) and the tires are both about the same price new. They were only willing to give me $250 total for trade in value for all four tires. I get that used tires are a difficult market but wow! Needless to say I didn't buy any tires there. read more

I had been following Rudy's Alignment for many, many years. He is now working with Tops. Rudy is a straight up guy and has always treated me fairly and his prices are reasonable. Now he is with John at Topps so they can offer more services including rotate and balance as well as sales of new and used tires and rims. They treated me very fairly and reasonably. They also give lifetime rotate and balance so that is the same as the "big boys". Not in the best part of town but certainly centrally located on Texas St.. Glad that Rudy is still around and working with a full service place like Tops. read more

When its time to replace tires, my preference is Cooper (following Alaska haul road experience several years ago), and the only source in this fine community here in the Hidden Gem of the World, Crossroads of North America, anchored by El Paso, Cd. Juarez, & Las Cruces, is TOP'S TIRE & WHEEL. Since my beloved 4Runner died a few years ago just South of Johnson City on US290 and have since acquired a surprisingly reliable Ranger, TOP'S continues to be my one & only new tire source. Of course, I buy the whole package, especially the road hazard, which has been valuable. For some reason, I put the Ranger through some difficult terrain, which the 4Runner could've easily handled, but the 2-wheel drive Ford machine simply can't handle it. However, TOP'S fully honored the road hazard and replaced the tire that failed while I was "exploring" a back road close to the Rio Grande back of CandelariaTX-USA after getting through Big Bend National Park. Thank you, TOP'S and my main contact there, John! I've reluctantly accepted that my off-roading days are largely limited to pavement and well-graded gravel ...sigh...and doubt that I'll ever again need the road hazard; but I am relaxed because TOP'S will take care of my wheeled needs.
