Boy, was I wrong! I went in early June 2026. We lingered around the garden seeds, canning supplies, bulk meats. There were so many grocery items on sale that are not featured in their flyers! Oh, and since June is National Dairy Month, we were treated to a free soft serve cone. The staff is helpful and efficient. Next trip I hope to enjoy lunch there. See you in 2027.

I am spoiled as a chef lol The chicken was ok... No free ice cream they wanted a buck for cup or cone. It was ok on the food... but we drove past a few places that would to have been same price for 2x the food. Off to shopping More room for folks Hard to find some of the specials And out and out bait and switch on the Nathen's hot dog deal the add listed the plain all beef and what was in the store was the ultra spicy ones... That was my main reason for the trip as 99 cents per lb would have been good for a winter stock up item... They did have the biscuits as box of 100 for 20 bucks And bulk fish triangles for 1.99 a lb And Heinz close dated ketchup 44 oz for 2.99 So not a total bust I might be back if I get more freezer space But I do almost as good in west of Bloomfield at Hwy 2 discount

Having lived in this area my entire life, I had always been curious since I was a child up until…read morenow about the store in question. Walking inside for the first time today the place looked straight out of one of those old movies, where a kid would walk in and find a magical little journey all their own in an antique store, but this one is a furniture store so disregard that. I noticed that the business had a van parked oddly outside- slightly in the road, one wheel up a good four inches from the ground further than the rest of them. I wanted to be kind enough to let them know their parking was a little off and so I went inside and looked around while waiting for someone to come and talk to me, and when they did I casually asked about the van and said that it was parked up a little unevenly and on the road. The result was the owners son, who this apparently was, being a bit edgy and asking about the revolver I carry around for self protection- A revolver I carry around ever since I was attacked by some asshole on pills trying to steal my bike. I said that this would be bad for the suspension and that it's in the road a little bit; "It's fine- what you got packing there?" A revolver I reply, only for them to get belligerent and shoo me out of their store in the span of 20 seconds with the elder father, owner of the business I assume at 80 years old according to my own father, getting up in my face inches short of physical contact and raising the stress level of the situation by a factor of ten, making a peaceful friendly gesture into about as bad as a situation can be without it getting violent. Clearly, in spite of my good intentions and my curiosity about the shop to the point that for a moment I was considering shopping there in the future, they are rich enough that they don't want or need future customers! All over a revolver, in the middle of the country to boot. These people need to learn where they live evidently because that sort of behavior will make them enemies real fast in this neighborhood, I'll tell you what! Don't give people like this your money, they clearly don't want OR need it! Edit: Asking around it also seems as if this business buys their merchandise from auction at dirt cheap prices, and then resells them at a higher price than they were even originally worth without doing much of anything to it, which is why they seem to be unable to get rid of much of it. This may or may not be true, how ever it is what I have been told from multiple people today after explaining my negative experience with the business and its owners. Kindly leave town, sir!
