They are so trust worthy and loving to my children. When they are at daycare I know they are being taken care of and loved the way they should. My oldest started when she was just 2 and went all the way through vpk. My middle child is currently on the same path. My youngest started at few months shy of 1 years old. This has been the best experience as being a parent and trusting someone to watch your child isn't always the easiest. They also offer an open door policy which I love. A week before thanksgiving they do a eat in day where you get to come in and eat "thanksgiving" with your child in class. They had fun music and fun staff again they make you feel like family when there. 10/10 recommend.

In that short month, we had already seen an improvement with the change of ownership. I can't say enough about how much this daycare has improved since the new owners took over. The difference is night and day. Mr. William was very welcoming the moment we reached out about baby No. 2. It was like we had never left. They make you feel like family. I love that they decorate for the holidays. This year baby No. 2 got a little gift for Easter that was age appropriate. It's clear that Mr. William and his team have brought a real passion for early childhood education and a commitment to excellence.

They have much healthier and quality food options, than I have seen everywhere (not unprocessed/ packaged food). My son had a particularly hard time at a previous daycare. He had daily behavioral issues, would try to escape, and all around just seemed maybe bored/ unhappy. Here he is like a whole other person. They've even been taking the time, to help get him potty trained; so, he can move up in classes where he should be. He says good morning, hi, bye, have a good day, and hugs everyone in his class when he leaves and gets to school. They are just truly great with them and are doing wonderful things with these kiddos! It has been a completely different experience at Kindercare. The teachers and administrators are sweet and caring. The rooms are kept clean, even the changing table have paper sheets like at the doctors office so they can make sure they are clean for each kid. They are constantly practicing hand washing. I know it is normal for kids to get sick some when they first start going to daycare and my daughter has occasionally been sick but it is less frequent than it was before. And there have been times other kids in the class have been diagnosed with the flu but my child and the others did not get it so to me that shows they are doing an excellent job at cleaning and preventing the spread. The teachers are in the class room constantly supervising the kids so my daughter has had less injuries and accidents than she had at the previous daycare as well. They have been working on potty training with her now and they go out of their way to work together with us. I was worried when she first started potty training about sending her to school in panties because I didn't want to make more work for them if she had accidents and they reassured me that they wanted to help and were glad to do whatever it takes to get her potty trained. They feed the kids healthy meals and snacks, not the typical school food, they eat yogurt and fruit and..something I didn't even know my daughter liked..hummus and pita. The craft projects that they do are so cute as well. I would highly recommend this daycare and when I need to send her little brother we will be sending him here as well

This is my second child and I used to work for a local AEYC affiliate (they accredit child cares). I have been in more child care centers then I can count and I have seen high quality child cares as well as ones that were just awful. As a parent my oldest daughter was in 2 child care centers as an infant. I chose this location as it is right off the 408 and on my way to work. When I toured this facility I was met by Karin the director. She clear about her guidelines and rules which I found very helpful. While the infant room seemed small at first glance, it's really the perfect size. They do not use fabric swings and bouncy seats (they always got my eldest daughter sick when she was a baby so this made me happy.) The teachers use the floor and give the babies lots of tummy time. This may seem weird to new parents but it really is the better way according to NAEYC guidelines. The room is kept very clean. This center also provides food and formula. Diapers are also available for a small fee (totally worth it!). The two teachers Bella and Martha are wonderful. My child lights up when she sees them both. The one or two times I had concerns or questions I always felt listened to. My issues were always resolved very quickly. And the director ALWAYS followed up. When I had a concern about my daughter's flat head from her stay in the NICU (she was a preemie and started at school at 3 months at 8lbs), EVERYONE was accommodating. I even had Wanda the assistant director talk to me about it in passing, "I see she's really doing well on her tummy time!" I would say La Petite on Goldenrod and Lake Underhill is truly a hidden gem. We had repeated concerns involving communication, professionalism, cleanliness, supervision, confidentiality, curriculum transparency, cultural awareness, and leadership. When we raised concerns, we were often met with dismissiveness, disrespect, defensiveness, and a lack of accountability. Owner Marcelo asked me, "What kind of mother are you?" because I had not brought a towel for my son. I found that cruel and inappropriate, especially while I was trying to understand why my child had been placed in another child's underwear. That was alarming, unsanitary, and deeply upsetting. Instead of receiving an immediate apology and explanation, I felt blamed. Marcelo also told me he was in Las Vegas and would address the matter when he returned. A serious concern involving a child's hygiene and care should not be delayed because an owner is traveling. In my experience, he appeared more concerned about me leaving a negative review than correcting what had happened. Kelsey promised to follow up with me regarding an important concern and never did. Her failure to respond made me feel that our concerns were not being taken seriously. Based on my experience, she showed the same lack of accountability I experienced from Marcelo. The current director, Aya, Mary, and regional director Mio were also extremely disappointing. In my opinion, all three need serious additional training in childcare administration, communication, professionalism, confidentiality, conflict resolution, and accountability. During one call, Mary told me she would hang up while my child was still physically inside the school. I did not yell, curse, insult anyone, or behave rudely. I was calmly asking questions about my son. Threatening to hang up on a calm parent while that parent's child is inside the facility is a serious problem. Parents should also not be denied information about the school's curriculum. Families have every right to know what their children are being taught and how the program is structured. Refusing to provide that information raises concerns about transparency. I was also disturbed by what appeared to be gossip involving parents and private family matters. Information allegedly shared about families made its way back to several mothers. Parents should be able to raise concerns without fearing that their private business will be discussed with others. My son was sent to school clean, neatly groomed, with freshly braided hair, clean clothing, and quality shoes. We spend hundreds of dollars each month making sure he has everything he needs. Yet I repeatedly picked him up extremely dirty, with food or other substances around his mouth and on his clothing. I understand children get messy, but there is a difference between normal play and failing to provide basic care after meals and activities. The cameras were unreliable, the playground lacked adequate equipment for an extended period, and I did not feel Black history or Black culture was meaningfully represented. After repeated disrespect, broken promises, poor communication, hygiene concerns, unreliable cameras, gossip, lack of curriculum transparency, and a complete loss of trust, my husband and I removed our son because the school was no longer a good fit for our family. The school may deny or dispute this review, but I would never invent something this serious. This is what my family experienced, and I have retained documentation relating to my concerns. Based solely on our personal experience, I do not recommend this place. Parents deserve honesty, professionalism, transparency, accountability, properly trained staff, and respectful communication. Most importantly, children deserve better.

The center has a more home-like atmosphere vs. hospital-like atmosphere. It is still very clean and it was re-modeled in the summer. The playground is the best I have ever seen, very large, and diverse and it is completely shaded by mature oak trees. The lunches are actually healthy like spaghetti and meat sauce, roast chicken, rice and beans. Every now and then they do either hot dog or hamburger. No fried foods are served which is a real plus! My sons love the food. They have lots of cool toys, music, and activities. My son made a fish on a string and pole (stick) that was so cute. It is very affordable and vacation weeks are only $20 reservation fees vs. half of the normal weekly tuition. Kids and Co is open until 7pm for late workers! The Director is fantastic and extremely personable. Very easy to talk to if your child has any special needs. I deducted half a star because not all of the teachers speak a lot of English. Note that the teachers for 2 yrs olds and up + the Director speak perfect English so not a big deal to me (just a couple folks out of the 10 on staff). Also note, that the children are shown G rated movies on a TV between 6pm and 7pm (I have no issue with this, but I know some parents are sticklers on TV). The kids are also typically given an extra snack between when the teachers are cleaning up. Hope this helps!
