During that…read moretime, I've done things I never thought possible at 57 or any age for me! 1) I participate in high-impact activities, like jump rope and jogging/running, that I hadn't done for 30 plus years due to my knees! 2) I've done push ups...yesterday was 50! Doing one would have been a big deal before. 3) I'm lifting more than PVC pipe! Those first two weeks were a little sketchy due to a tear in my shoulder. Now my shoulder barely gives me any trouble and I don't need PT. 4) I've learned yoga poses! :-) 5) I can get on and off the ground for the first time after my knee replacements 3 yrs ago without worrying about having something to hold onto to get back up! 6) I've been upside down against a wall... still working on that one. 7) I can hold onto a bar, actually hold my weight, and did knee ups yesterday! 8) I can do more kinds of squats than I ever realized existed! And, what do I get out of it besides great exercise and great people? 1) I've stopped all blood pressure meds because they're no longer necessary. 2) I stopped a medical weight loss program, because I just don't need it. 3) I sleep much better. 4) My confidence has improved. 5) Because I commit myself to going to the 4:30 class I no longer work 10-12 hr days. I am hooked and healthier then I have been for a long time and I have all of you to thank for it.

I asked how long my Oral Surgery would take and they said, "Oh About 30-40 mins". So I thought to myself, it is now 2pm, and I am still waiting in the waiting room for a 30 min procedure. The math wasn't adding up, and the waiting room was FULL of people. I rescheduled for a week later, for the morning, and I was only waiting for about 15mins this time before surgery began. All in all, Dr.Selznick seemed friendly and quick. The procedure room was slightly off-putting, because there air conditioner had been out there was a fan/swamp cooler against the wall making noise. My surgery did only take 30 minutes and I was out of there. The annesthesia wasn't BAD to where I couldn't walk or really function, I was just slightly loopy for a couple hours. It is now day 3 since the surgery and I am actually just in slight discomfort, not really pain! I have only read 1 Yelp review about things turning out very bad for her since her surgery with Selznick, but I am doing fine for the most part!
