Last year, I was dealing with stress poorly. My job was getting busy, I was getting stressed, and as a result, I was getting sick, grumpy, and easily frustrated. I began health coaching in October 2017. Coach Gwen laid out easy, practical steps to take one day at a time to breathe, think, and manage my stress level. At first, it seemed pointless, nothing was really working. But then, after a few weeks, I noticed I was actually less stressed. The simple steps were actually having a bigger effect. That's when I fully committed. Each week through the 12-week program, Coach Gwen guided me along with steps grounded in science, practical studies, and genuine care. By the end of the 12-weeks, I felt stress-free. While I still had my job and my obligations, I was able to handle them without stressing or panicking. Also, if you get sick, hope you had an apt pending, because they book up with apts for weeks out. When you need to get in, they are never available. Another huge thing was they lost all my medical records and after an apt on a Friday they did not send my prescriptions to the pharmacy forcing me to go to the hospital and be seen in the ER to get those prescriptions filled.
