Long lines when we got to the hotel. Even though we got there at 10 AM, we had a register to get our park tickets. We Musta had a front desk clerk that was on his first day, because he didn't know anything that was going on. Didn't know how to take my credit card, give us tickets, or answer any questions like where do we take the shuttle to Disneyland. Bell service sucked. We had to get in early and we kept our luggage at the bell stand. Came back at 8 o'clock at night to have a Bellman deliver our luggage, but nobody was there. They refused to help us. About 10 PM when we went to the room the check in, just to add insult to injury none of the keys work. So we had to wait in a long line to get our keys for Rooms that we're supposed to be ready five hours earlier. Room are very similar to a holiday inn from 1984. dirty, small and no AC. The good news, is they have open windows.... bad news is that the bugs come in..... covered in bug bites the next day. One bright spot was the concierge's. Disney doesn't have convenient shuttles to Charles de Gaulle airport, so we had to take a taxi. Another hundred euro down the drain. Oh well just part of the cluster of Covid. And to finalize this, the shutter we booked was 1/2 hour late, and dropped us off at the wrong terminal. The cherry to the top of the cake! #avoidtherat

    Hallway right outside our room.

This hotel should cost you no more than 40€ a night. I am blown away that Disney as a well known, quality name brand corporation, would support such a low quality motel. For the money you have to spend to stay here you would expect, at the very LEAST, air conditioning!! It looks nice when you walk in and has an exciting theme for the kids. Then you get to the rooms and the hallways have holes in the walls and stains in the carpets. There's a musty smell in the rooms due to lack of ventilation. The WiFi is weak and our connecting doors to the two rooms we booked had damaged hinges. When we spoke to the manager to complain about the features in our rooms, they told us "we should have known we were getting a 2 star hotel". Pros: -Exciting and cool Cars theme. Little details and huge billboard on the exterior brought it all together Cons: -No a/c!!!! -Rooms are tiny -Weak ventilation in the rooms -Rude hotel manager -Broken door hinges -Stains on the floor -Slow WiFi In the end, this should not be considered a "Disney" hotel and is NOT what you'd expect when purchasing a Disneyland package.

We enjoyed the Mira Costa at Tokyo Disney. This trip we stayed at Disneyland hotel ( there are more hotels around, like Santa Fé hotel and Cheyenne hotel ) but Disneyland hotel is the cream of the crop. I have never seen such a beautiful and luxurious hotel. The Disney influence seems minimal, no hidden Mickeys all over the place. They offer a complimentary breakfast buffet, a complimentary tea time, and soft drinks and teas and coffees ( espresso, lattes, cappuccino..) soft drinks too at no charge. The minibar in the room is filled of complimentary snacks and drinks too. The rooms are tastefully decorated, plush towels furnished. The hotel staff is very competent, knowledgeable and helpful. Everybody speaks French but they are also eager to speak English. I got lost the very evening and the staff helped me get back on track. The rooms are modernly furnished. The lights turn on automatically when you approach ( sensor sensitive ). So modern and energy saving. There is a swimming pool but we didn't use it. The Disney princesses and Mickey Minnie characters also appeared at breakfast and throughout the day in the lobby. Service is competent, prices of rooms here are also high. Splurge in Paris, you totally deserve it.

The staff was nice enough to let us go through the cast member security line. Everything was nice and clean. The staff were friendly and informative. I would suggest getting a physical room key for a souvenir and in case your phone battery runs low. There was a pool and hot tub. Two restaurants and a coffee shop. A really nice gift shop also. I didn't have time to check the Spa out but they did have one on site. We bought the character breakfast which was really pricey but I'm glad I did it. The seafood buffet was actually terrible. The lobster was freezer burnt and the serving utensils were mixed in some of the gluten free items so I had limited choices. There was a lot of confusion on what was gluten free and they handed me a large book written in French to decipher. I won't ding the hotel for their buffet though. The hotel was right next to the park and we got a one hour early entrance. Especially nice hotel and lovey experience.

The quintessential French Countryside experience. The weather was blissful and restful and the water fountains helped us sleep so deeply. Front desk mastery was performed by Cecilia. She gave an incredible overview of resort and breakdown of what to expect within this amazing property. Among three species of water fowl ( Including Canadian Geese ) there a tribute to Claude Monet complete with statue. The Monet Garden has been designed to tribute him and reads as a true impressionist painting complete with overgrown bridge just like his signature paintings. There is the perfect amount of alge in the small pond that mimics the impressionist's burst strokes. It's beautiful to walk thru this garden and enjoy actually being 'inside' one of Claude Monet's inspirations. The Le Bistro in the lobby has a phenomenal lunch menu until about 2pm and then opens back up for Dinner. Sabawoon was such a great server and very welcoming during our first lunch at the property. I recommend the pasta with white cheese sauce or the cheese pizza as a nice welcome meal for you. Upon being granted early our room ( a large studio in building 4500 ) We discovered it looks over Le Lac and the ducks were amazing to be with a large family of Canadian geese 'honking' to welcome us. This bedding is to die for a some of the best sheets and pillows I have ever experienced. We slept deeply here in the room and really loved waking up to a peace that only the French Countryside can provide. It was wonderful to also request white robes to lounge in and enjoy. Back at Le Bistro Bar the very fun and kind Dragana was amazing to visit with each night of our stay and was well versed at handling all sorts of crowds and guests no matter what. We looked forward to our times here at the bar after our days in the Parks. This is also a Gin Bar with many types of gin and goblet like glassware to honor these incredible drinks in. The front desk staff was incredible and like Cecilia the very kind and very articulate Sitharan helped me with booking the transit between the hotel and Disneyland Paris. Here is my concern and area for improvement. This tram takes a picking up break from from 20:00 to 21:10 - this one hour and 10 minute break is hurtful to those who are looking to leave the park early and needs at least two or three other pick up times when crowds are wanting to exit the park and waiting. Many of the patrons were forced to take Ubers and got angrier to pay high Taxi costs . Also in perfect transparency, the lobby bar closes early at 22:00 and the marketplace minutes afterwards. So if one needs a night cap or two this put pressure on the bar staff such as the kind Sabawoon and wonderful Dragana. Upon leaving I was impressed with Ceclia once again and she remembered our itinerary and wished us Bon Voyage for our travel day. Incredible to remember us after checking in so many people at this busy property. I look forward to booking a stay again here and even longer for the fabulous sheets alone! Thank you everyone, you made our stay amazingly magical! Merci!

Now from there I have a few bones to pick. But it was not all terrible. The reception and check in staff were amazing. They were friendly and super helpful. The gift shop and the hotel bar as well as the housekeeping and hotel restaurant staff were also pretty good. But for the positives the checkin cast was the golden children here. The hotel had WiFi and that was very nice and helpful, the location of the hotel was pretty good, it was easy to walk from the hotel to the parks with no issues. It was also a very short walk The breakfast was pretty good, specially the croissants They had us pass through a security scanner any time we walked in the front door of the hotel, the rooms are pretty dated and the decor was not really magical. We were a family of two adults and two children, and our room had a nice queen bed and a sofa bed. Good space for us. Room was well kept and clean. Bathroom was nice. Being an old hotel, you only get two outlets and a smaller than average TV. Regarding the room, my only criticism is about the towels and toilet paper provided, which were not terrible, but could be on par with how much disney charges you. My younger loved the character meet & greet in the lobby area. The kids corner was a bit underwhelming. There was only a sort of "interactive table" with some games for kids to play, and, apparently, nothing else. As mentioned before, loved the location, it really felt like you were in a secluded wilderness area. There were busses to the park every 12 min or so, but walking to Disney Village and parks entrance was pretty easy, probably about 15 min. Didn't eat at the two buffet restaurants, because I thought they were a bit too expensive (45€ adults/25€ kids), but liked the more casual Redwood Bar in the lobby, that was open till late, and offered plenty of beverages and some sandwiches. Wish there was a quick dinning restaurant, like disney hotels in Florida usually do. Worth mentioning that if you wish to do some laundry on your own, you have to walk to nearby Hotel Cheyenne. Overall, good place to stay in Disneyland Paris property, and would stay here again.

The rooms were huge compared to our other Paris hotels. The theming was nice (Disney without being over the top) and felt like a mix between a yacht club and an elevated cruise experience. It is certainly not as grand or impressive as moderate or luxury Disney World hotels in Florida, but none of the Paris hotels are (besides the Disneyland Paris hotel). Regarding food and drink options, the Captain's Quarters bar was a nice option for late-night drinks after a long park day. However, the hotel does not have a grab-and-go breakfast or coffee option that we could find (something to consider when planning your day). I had heard mixed things about Newport, but wanted to give this place a shot because of its cute theming. Man, I should have listened to the negative reviews and switched to another hotel. To give context, I have stayed in numerous Disney hotels, so I feel I have a pretty decent baseline on which to give this review. So let the magic behind. Not! So let's first start off with the lack of welcome we received when we got there. First, you are welcomed with having your luggage go through an X-ray machine by two security guards joking around, who aren't even watching the machines. Yes, I feel really secure after watching that. With all that going on, not one person greeted us when we actually walked into the hotel, as you see at other Disney properties in the US. When we walked in, we were greeted by a guy with red hair, beard, and Mushu from Mulan on his shoulder, who gave us a smarmy laugh when I didn't have my booking number memorized or on hand when we walked up to reception. Sorry, Bub, but we just got off an 8 hour flight (with no sleep) and one hour bus ride in which we used to nap, so we didn't have it readily available yet your majesty. Even after I retrieved the number, he still wouldn't let us get in line to check in, and just ushered us to baggage check-in instead. When I asked him if we could see if our room was ready, he again gave us his signature smarmy chuckle and told us, " Of course, a room is not ready, people want to sleep in". What does that even mean? It was 10:30 a.m., and I have checked into other Disney hotels a lot earlier than 10:30. So this guy sucked to say the least, and the funny thing is, the days we were heading to the park at 7:30 a.m., we saw people getting their paperwork after getting checked in early to their rooms, and they weren't part of the Compass Club (the extra charge you can pay to have specialized treatment at the hotel). This individual was not just a jerk, but also a liar. So we move on to baggage check. We waited in the long line, watched two guys argue over who was in line first, and had to deal with two rude lifeguards with unhelpful comments to say when we were shifting our stuff around to our luggage, so we didn't have to carry things to the park. The baggage check guy only gave us tickets for four of our seven bags, and when we came back later to get our bags, we were met with a rude attitude from a guy named Igor, who got upset when we told him that we were missing 3 bags and he wanted to argue with us. So Igor sucks too. Also, to the two rude lifeguards, you suck, too. We then hit up the parks, and unfortunately, it was hotter than you know what on the days we were at Disney. As the first day went on, we still hadn't gotten our room assignment yet, and it was close to 7 pm. When we returned to the hotel, we had to ask someone at registration what room number we had and to get our room keys. She was shocked that we hadn't received our room yet. Before I tell you about the crappy room, let me first explain part of our frustration about our room. I had asked for a first floor, closest to the lobby as possible. What we got was a 3rd-floor room, as far away from the elevators as possible. I mean, going down 5 different hallways and the last room in the hall closest to the end of the building. So when we had to leave the room for the lobby, we really had to leave with some intention. Now for the room. The room was decent size, but absolutely no air conditioning in the room. We had it jacked to 60 degrees, and still would not cool down after being in the parks (with hardly any air conditioning or fans in the parks) all day. We called down to the reception, and they said they would send maintenance. That didn't happen. We called 2 hours later about the room, and they were dumbfounded that no one had checked on the air conditioner yet. They said they would call back. Spoiler alert: They did not call back. So needless to say, our room never cooled down the whole time we were there. Overall, there is no counter service restaurant here, the ice machines are tiny in the hallway that is meant to serve over 150 rooms on each floor always out of ice, and the lobby bathrooms have zero air conditioning going through them, even during a heat spell. The only highlight of this place was a bellhop named Julio. One of the friendliest staff members there. Other staff members could learn a lesson from him. Overall, heed the warnings of others on Yelp. This place is horrible, with mostly horrible and inefficient staff. If you notice, most of the people posting negative comments are long-time Disney fans who know what they are talking about and have enough Disney hotel stays to give honest reviews of this place. We know what is expected of a typical Disney stay, and this place ain't it.

Then ask the front desk some general questions since it was our first time to Disneyland Paris. The staff out front would not let anyone into the lobby that was checking in that day. We told them that's fine but we just had general questions we wished they would have let us get answered before we left to the parks. When we went to checkout in the morning on our final day no one was at the front desk. The bellman had to assist us with finding a front desk worker. Rooms: The rooms are very large and spacious. Walking to the parks: Honestly it's way easier to walk to the parks vs riding the bus. It's a super short walk once you know the way to go.
