Mark told me what documents I would need, including returns from the preceding 2 years. He submitted amended returns for my previous 2 years and got me refunds on both. He then filed my current return and although we did owe some money, I now had much higher confidence in the accuracy of the filed returns, both federal and state. Since that first year, our situation has continued to grow in complexity and I no longer worry when tax time comes 'round. I fill out Mark's annual summary survey and return along with my receipts and am amazed that I typically get back my completed return, ready to file, in just a few days. Though we have had a few years where we owed money on our returns, this year (2021) was very tough for my wife and me.
