I had been looking for a good sauna spot and this one fit the bill and then some. Super friendly staff, centrally located (great when the green line is running), good and clean equipment, and moderate prices. I've only used the infrared sauna (they have a small one and a large one) so I can't comment on the cryo services. You might want to research any smart wearables (Garmin, bluetooth headphones, etc) before bringing them in with you, fortunately both sauna options have a TV with sound wired in to help pass the time. Great way to get your heart rate up and burn some calories while doing nothing (maybe obvious to most but this was new to me!) Quick accessibility note: there are steps you have to go up as the saunas are on the second floor. Recommend to anyone looking for sauna services, I'll definitely be back.

A lot of people have reached out to me after posting on social media what my experience was so I have to really be honest that this just wasn't for me. The staff was nice and the cryo experience was interesting but I had zero benefit and possibly caused some harm. I did the intro 2 sessions for $69. DAY 1: 5/27/18 Post-Workout: After 45min Spin Class and 1.5 hour Lower Body Circuit Weight Training (Leg/Calves/Glutes/Abs) 3 min Whole Body Cryotherapy Level 1 30 min Normatec Compression (+$10) *Result: Null. Did not feel anything at all.* DAY 2: 5/28/18 *Woke up extremely sore, more than usual after working out but let's see if day 2 will make a difference.* Pre-Workout: 2 hour Upper Body Circuit Weight Training (Biceps/Back/Triceps/Chest/ShoulderAbs) 3 min Whole Body Cryotherapy Level 2 (was told -30 degrees lower than level 1) 30 min Normatec Compression (+$10) *Result: I was very red and tingly after level 2 which was fine and I was pretty cold the rest of the day, I ended up wearing sweats and a fleece for the remainder of the day.* DAY 3: 5/29/18 *Woke up still very sore, more than usual on day 3 after doing lower and body circuit - odd because usually my split day feels fine/recovered.* VERDICT: It's super cold, worse than I expected and the last 30 seconds feels like a lifetime. They will direct you to sometimes do a 360 turn while in the cryo. The issue right now is that my left nipple literally feels frostbitten - not kidding. I might have to go see a doctor because it's pretty painful. DISCLAIMER: I am in training for a bikini bodybuilding competition and my level of workouts are pretty intense - 30+ cardio sessions/month (45-90 min/day) and 20+ weight lifting sessions/month. I'm well conditioned at this point and cryotherapy and compression therapy did not work on me, perhaps I'm a rare case since other people seem to have had a good experience. I've just never been this uncomfortable or sore in 5 months of training. For $89, it was worth a try for the potential reboot but I think I might have set myself back.

What made the situation even worse was that they proceeded to make inappropriate comments about my body and the smell of my perfume. This was not only unprofessional--it was invasive, disrespectful, and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. I made it clear that I was uncomfortable and did not want to return (although I had paid for a package), and the response I received was dismissive. There was no accountability, no apology, and no indication that they took the situation seriously. It escalated further when my mother called the business to express concern and explain that she did not feel comfortable with me going back. The phone was answered with, "Who the f*** is this, you called me?"--which speaks volumes about the level of professionalism and respect customers can expect. When we attempted to resolve the situation by setting up a call with the business manager, it was met with endless excuses, missed follow-ups, and a complete lack of communication. Overall, this experience was not just unprofessional, but completely inappropriate and concerning. I would strongly caution anyone considering this business. No one should have to deal with this kind of behavior, especially in a setting where privacy and comfort should be a top priority.

The staff was very friendly it was my first visit and I was given a short tour of the space and available services. I went in for full body cryotherapy which only lasts 3 minutes. I was given shorts to wear along with slippers sock and gloves. They provide headphones if you would like to listen to music during the service. The cryotherapy was quick and they can adjust based on your comfort level. Each service room is private which I liked. Afterwards a team member asked if I wanted to visit again for another service and told me about their memberships. I had an enjoyable and relaxing experience and look forward to visiting again. $$ (depending upon service and membership)

I'm giving this location 3 stars because most of the staff are genuinely kind and the facility is easy to find. However, my overall experience was mixed, and I think it's important for others to know what to expect. There is one staff member whose approach I found unethical based on my interactions. I won't call them out publicly, but if someone wants the name, I'm willing to share it privately. My concern is that their sales tactics felt dishonest--whether due to quotas, commissions, or something else, I can't say, but the behavior didn't feel transparent. Before my introductory appointment, I did my research and understood that multiple sessions are typically needed. I had no issue with purchasing a package as long as scheduling would work with my availability. The day before my original appointment, I received a text saying I needed to be rescheduled, so I pushed it to the following week. During the consultation, I expected a sales pitch, but the additional "add‑ons" offered if I bought a package felt insincere. My main question was simple: Can weekend appointments be accommodated if I commit to a package? I was told yes, and that they like to see clients every 2-3 weeks. What wasn't explained was how difficult it actually is to secure those appointments. After my session today, the earliest available follow‑up was five weeks out. The appointment after that was more than a month later. Only then did I learn I could be placed on a waitlist or check online for cancellations--information that would have been helpful before making a purchase decision. My takeaway is that the treatment itself is popular and the location simply doesn't have the capacity to meet demand. That part I understand. What I don't appreciate are the predatory sales practices: The add‑ons I was promised never materialized. My scheduling needs cannot realistically be accommodated. Had I been given honest information up front, I might have chosen to pay per session at the higher rate rather than invest in a package I can't use as intended. I hope this review helps others considering T‑Shape therapy at this location. The treatment may be worthwhile, but ask very direct questions about scheduling before committing to a package. Transparency matters, and in my experience, it was lacking.

So I had had previous experience with this kind of treatment. The time I spent at Star was the best. To begin with, the facility is pleasant, with large windows, and very well laid out so that three or four therapists can work freely with patients with different levels of need. The atmosphere is welcoming and exudes a sense of community, working together to produce comfort and high performance. Sam Dozier, receptionist and Therapist Aide, greets people warmly, tirelessly arranges schedules to suit your convenience, and throughout your time there offers compassionate support. I worked alternately with Kyra Corradin and Aysha Ehsan. To sum up, I found them to be kind, caring, and focused. They are professionals with a special understanding of the power of movement to refresh and restore. Although work in the sessions is directed to particular areas of the body, the target is the whole person, not just a sore neck or knee. Kyra and Aysha began each session by asking how I was feeling that day with an interest not only in physical issues, but also in my spirits and general outlook. Their goal was to make me feel better through movement specifically directed to areas needing attention. If I indicated pain in a particular area, they would begin by massaging that spot, literally demonstrating the common expression, "I can feel your pain." I always did feel better after my sessions. However, both therapists strongly emphasized the importance of taking personal responsibility for learning and doing prescribed exercises at home. I thought they were great teachers, very good practitioners of their trade, and good at motivating me to carry on the lessons ourselves.

Stretching on my own was losing its effectiveness and I wanted to see if there was a deeper problem that needed professional help. I had appointments with both Kathy and Annie. Unfortunately my first few experiences weren't that positive as far as the therapists being on time (for one appointment I had to wait 30 mins, due to traffic. But imagine if it was the reverse, I'm sure I would have been charged as a no show or wouldn't have been able to still have my appointment that day). It was a bit odd working with 2 therapists, as it seemed they both had their own approach to PT that didn't always line up with the other's instruction. Annie was nice and pleasant to work with. However, after about a month of going twice a week every week, I asked if she thought the sessions were what I needed (because they aren't cheap!) She recommended yoga. My last comment is regarding their billing practices. I paid the first bill in the office, and received the second bill in the mail. However the bill stated it was already past due. I called the office to pay and asked why the bill was past due. I was given some excuse about the way the insurance payments hit. That's unacceptable to me and has never happened in all of my adult life. Overall the experience going to STAR was one I didn't feel I benefited from, and could have saved a lot of time and money.
