Came here with my friend to get our eyebrows waxed and I go into the room and ask to keep the thickness and just clean up around them and she laughs at my eyebrows tells me to lay down then starts waxing. While I was laying down I could just feel she was ripping off way more hair then I asked for. When she finished I tried to act like I was fine with the result when I really wasn't. So fast forward next two days my skin around and between my eyebrows are breaking out which has never happened before, so I will not be returning. read more

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. The male technician that did my nails was about ready to paint my nails after filing and clipping them. I politely asked if he could finish filing them due to the jagged edges and he had the audacity to blame me and said it's because I cut them too short when he was the one who just clipped them shorter. The top coat is doesn't even cover each nail completely. I'm very unsatisfied and unimpressed. My friends and I will never be back. read more

I made an appointment with them in the morning. i got there and still had to wait 25 minutes because they over booked their appointments. then i finally get seated i got an acrylic full set (which is what i normally get, usually 50 dollars with designs and everything) and when i went to pay they said it was 60. mind you i got plain nails, did not ask for a shape but got coffin. and one of my nails is noticeably a lot shorter than the rest. and more than half are crooked. this place used to be my favorite and very good, but now it overpriced and the nails aren't even worth it. read more

I've been to Diva a couple times. The first time I went, they did a great job with the gel on my toes. However, they cut my toenails way too short. It ended up becoming infected. That same day I got my eyebrows waxed and they did a good job. So, I stopped getting my toes done there, but I liked the brows. I went back just specifically for my eyebrows and the girl did a terrible job. I was embarrassed. She made my left thin and arched and my right thick, no arch. She told me to "buy some rogaine" to fix it. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more

CORONA VIRUS SPREADING? I am from NY, the nail shop there has not open yet. I was so happy to travel to North Myrtle Beach and could pant my nails again. But, after waiting 20 minutes on the chair for pedi and the time while doing the delux pedi in 20 minutes only, i observed that Many of customers don't wear mask, don't do hand sanitizer and go around inside the shop, do nail. Nail technicians don't wash hands after served customer, then straight to do nail for another customers, seem they don't sanitize or disinfect they tools as well, too dirty i saw! I had to ask the man change a new tools, he went back with a new and clean set. Looked like he wasn't happy with that. I bet they doing that with a lot of you guys already, dirty and not safe? Many of them did not sanitize or clean the tables, chairs after serving a customer, then let other customers seat on it again. Terrible! Do you think they are helping to spread the Corona virus faster for our country? Do you want to go this Nail shop in the future? For me, HELL NO! read more

Don't really like to leave bad reviews but want to save others from the bad experience. I paid for the thermo-therapeutic pedicure. What I got was a rushed and cut-rate pedicure. I did get the paraffin wax but that was it. The rest was minimal. Trimmed my nails but not the cuticles. A quick scrub and that was it. No base coat on my nails, etc. The person next to me was seated after me and was still in the chair when I was done. She was getting a basic pedicure. Very very disappointing experience. Very upset. So i went in there to get Gel polish and manicure. She said it was $30 that was fine. I went in 15mins before closing thinking i would be in even if they had to close. The girl that did my nails didn't really do a manicure, she took like 3 pieces of skin from my cuticles she was doing everything so fast rushing it like left my nails too square where the corners were soo sharp i told her again after she had painted them. If they're busy just turn around and leave. I stopped in here with my bf for a little pampering after subjecting my feet to days out in the sand at the beach. We each paid $38 for the theraputic pedicure. We were hurriedly serviced. I don't even think our paraffin wax got a chance to harden before they were taking our feet out. My nail polish was streaky and uneven, so much so that I had to ask to have them redone, & my bf ended up with a nicked cuticle. I would never , ever recommend this place to my dog , let me start by saying not once but twice , my daughter has cerebral palsy, both nail techs made fun of her and or hollered because she did not hold her hand a certain way , this is ignorance at it's finest ! The customer service is TERRIBLE. I will never go back! I wanted to see swatches of two different colors for a pedicure. The employee tossed the polishes back to me and basically told me to figure it out. As well, when I checked out the man who did my pedicure ran up to the front and yelled out the price THREE times to the girl at the register. Also, when I was getting ready to check out with my niece, who was paying separately, the girl was worried that we weren't going to pay. Also, since the service is bad i didn't leave a tip, the employees were whispering in the back which we could see from the front door. I have been going to Diva & CC the past 2 years and I was never super impressed but they usually didn't have a wait time and got me in and out quickly. This last time was the absolutely last straw. The little muscular man was hurting me during my pedicure using the drill on my toe nails, he laughed at me and told me to get over it. During my manicure all the nail people were making snarky comments and when I would ask a question they kept jokingly saying "10 dollars more." One or two jokes is fine but enough is enough. Other people were making faces and saying they wouldn't return either. VERY IMPORTANT- CC and DIVA have the SAME owners so it's the same services provided. I came here 3x and had the same guy (Jason) each time. The first 2 visits he did a ok job, wasn't the best pedicure i'd ever had but i did expect a little better here than i got. When they bring you over to sit under the ultra violet lights they never check on you again. My last visit, jason forcibly pushed my fiit down twice! I was trying to get comfortable so my foot rested on the tub better but without warning he just pressed really hard and hurt my toe. I'll never go back. They make little effort to talk to you, but have no problem speaking a different language to other coworkers so i didn't know if he would understand if i told him to stop pressing on my foot. TERRIBLE NAIL SHOP i had ever visited! The tiny lady did my nails, she said her name is KIM, was terrible. She rushed and tried many times to force me to do the top of line pedicure which called Honey & milk pedicure. Her face was not happy when i said no. Ok, she got it. I told her i just wanted regular polish, but she done with gel and charged me $60 pedicure, plus $15 gel. I don't know if she can understand English or not, or just cheating ways. Total $75 pedicure within 30 minutes. She not even cut the cuticle. She used the buffer to file the nails only. She just applied lotion and no foot massage at all... Ridiculously, I was not really feel that i had a pedicure, they just wash and paint the nails at this nail shop??? Is it kind of cheating business??? I'd over heard their conversation by their language something with license words... I feel like she doesn't know how to do nail or No license i bet... Wished I had read and trusted these reviews on here before. I've heard that one on the Main Street is very good. I will check it out next time! read more

This was my first time going to Diva Nails, because I am from out of state. I thought I would have a nail salon to go to to get my nails done while I was in state. I looked on their website and saw that Elvis was a good nail tech. I made an appointment with him for 11:00. The morning of my appointment a female called me to change my appointment to 12:00, because Elvis had errands to run. I told her that was fine. I arrived for my appointment, there was a female at the front desk on the telephone, I signed my name on the pad and sat down to wait. After she got off the telephone she didn't even acknowledge that I was there. There was two other ladies before me and they were called to a chair. The female didn't even say that my tech would be with me in 10 or 15 minutes or whatever. Time is going by. It was 12:25 and no one still didn't acknowledge me so I got up and left the salon. At 12:38 Elvis calls me to say that he was sorry. Sorry doesn't cut it with me. My time is just as precious as everyone else's. I told him their customer service at the salon is terrible and that the female didn't even acknowledge me that I was there. She was very rude and it's not a friendly salon. She didn't even say hello, good afternoon, nothing. How do they get customers if they don't notice that they are there. I would never go back to this salon. This was a terrible experience I have ever encountered. read more

This was my second visit, and I won't be back. First visit a month ago was great--congenial tech who did a great job on dip manicure. Second time, was hoping I could depend on good service again so I requested the same tech for dip mani and gel pedicure. (I waited on her for nearly 30 minutes--my choice. I wanted to wait because I thought she would provide good service again.) During the basic gel pedi (was she upset I didn't choose a more expensive one?) she seemed displeased when I could not put my feet in exactly the perfect spot for her. Same with my dip manicure. She was annoyed that I did not move my fingers or wrists exactly as she wanted me to. I have mild arthritis, which I finally told her after she continued to express her annoyance with me. Not all the sides of my nails were painted and he cut my nails crooked....The second time I went there the owner did my power manicure but she was more interested in who was coming in who was on the phone then doing my manicure. Every time we come to the beach, this is our place for getting our "toes done" They are good with their estimate of a wait time if there is one. We walk around the stores nearby and come back when it's about time. The ladies that have done our nails are always polite and have checked to make sure the polish color is what we wanted and take their time asking exactly how we want them cut. My wife and I always get the deluxe pedicure with the paraffin treatment. My feet feel great when I leave and I like having a nice even color to my toenails. A little flesh/pink to a mans toenails makes them look great. The gel coat is durable and looks good for a long time. Hahn has taken good care of both of us as the other ladies that have taken care of us. I highly recommend Diva Nails and look forward to our next beach trip and visiting them again! read more
