I did my PADI drysuit certification with this company. I was really impressed by the quality of this one-day outing taught by Megan, and I appreciated the ability to dive with a quality rented drysuit. (Some places require one to buy a suit and then get the inexpensive course tuition "free." While one can do this with Divers Inc, one need not.) Now I can dive the Great Lakes wrecks in comfort. These wrecks are world class, by the way, and are conveniently dived in late spring, summer, and early fall. That period is generally the worst for warm water diving. read more

Bill was great and taught my husband everything he needed to know. My husband too a rescue dive course with him. Megan is hardcore but super fun. Tuck is amazing too. These people are so hardcore that they do cave diving which is awesome. We went on multiple dive vacations with these people. read more

Shady nearing on fraudulent. I booked a dive charter and rented equipment for a dive in Port Sanilac, Michigan to see two underwater shipwrecks on 7am Sunday. At 6:06pm on Saturday, Rich leaves me a voicemail that informs me that the dive has been cancelled due to weather and he will be providing a refund. If I would like, I can do an alternate dive and he will email me in the information. I called back at 6:37 pm and there is no answer. I never receive an email. When I go to return the equipment, there is no refund. Just store credit for $250 worth of equipment. I explain that I'm moving away from the area. Additionally they will mail me a check for my charter -- no refund to my credit card. At this point I have $500 of charges on my credit card and am still unable to get in touch with Rich. I returned untouched dive equipment -full tanks and everything for a dive that was cancelled due to 72 degree, 0 inches of precipitation and 6mph winds. Excellent dive shop for classes of all levels, equipment purchase, maintenance and general great advice. The owners, Rich and Jill, and the manager, Bill, go above and beyond to make sure you are totally happy. I live quite a distance from the shop and continue to be loyal as they have treated me great. I do have 3 shops that would be a much closer drive, but the great customer service and knowledge of Divers Inc keeps me coming back time after time. Oh, and their trips? Awesome! Really wanted to love this dive shop, and support a local business...but $303 of charges to my credit cards and no dives later, I'm finding that hard to do. I signed up for a wreck dive in early September, and the dive was canceled the evening before the dive. Dive shops can't control the weather so I was completely understanding of this. The shop owner informed me of the canceled dive, told me I would be getting my money refunded, and I returned my equipment to the dive shop untouched- full tanks and all. I inquired about having my money refunded to the card it was originally charged to and was told I would have to wait for a check in the mail. Additionally, I was informed that I would not be receiving a refund for the $179 worth of untouched equipment I rented, instead I could get a store credit. It was a nice touch of them to offer, but considering it's mid-September and I'm out $300, I doubt I'll be going diving anytime soon... read more

I hade my regulator serviced by them for first time. For many years I had it done at Huron Scuba for $110. They charged me $180 and when I went diving one week later the service regulator was installed wrong(upside down) and it worked only 80% of the time( not a good thing at 100Ft under water). I had to use the spare, yellow regulator. When I complained and asked for my money back they offered to "fix" it for me. I am sorry but I don't trust them with my equipment. read more
