Very friendly and they care about their patients. They always take the time to listen to what I have to say.

People and families have ups and downs and ours is no exception. In our case, we consider the…read morehealth of our son, as with everyone in our family, vital to our collective well-being. For more than two decades he had been the dependable go-to-nurse in a government hospital tending to mentally disturbed patients. Since last year our son's health suffered as the cumulative effect of a punishing work condition such that he needed medical care himself. Unbelievably, Los Angeles, California, with all its reputed cosmopolitan advances and progressive pretensions, proved direly incapable of providing satisfactory medical care when needed most. It's either that doctors don't service my son's insurance coverage or that their schedules were top heavy and for many other reasons. The couple of medical providers we ultimately contracted had their own sweet times of when to engage a patient such that there were emergency situations and they would not even pick up the phone. My son's employer also has doctors but they, too, were found wanting. My wife and daughters would take turn pleading, crying over the phone asking office staffs to connect then with the doctors, to no avail. There was someone we had been addressing as "Doctor" for sometime only to find out that he's a nurse practitioner. There were instances of seriously wrong medications prescribed resulting in my son's ailment turning worse. A Texas-based daughter brought to our attention Dr. Robert Hernandez of Primary Medicine of Sherman and, boy, he's heaven sent as far as we are concerned. In the words of another daughter, Dr. Hernandez is a doctor who cares, the kind of Primary Care Physician we're looking for his brother and everyone in the family. Laymen that we are, we, nevertheless, are capable of discerning the wide chasm of difference between our sad experience with California's medical world viewed in the prism of Dr. Hernandez' humanity, very capable hands, and sincere care of patients. Friendly office staff, too. As a matter of fact, we're in the process of resettling in this part of Texas so that everyone in our family can avail of Dr. Hernandez' care and expertise. I'm sure this is only the first of our shared observations for the benefit of everyone in need of competent, patient-oriented medical provider. At our first meeting with Dr. Hernandez, we feel that he was not just a doctor of the body and mind, but of the soul, as well, because he reaches out to our deepest longing for a friend, a confidante and someone akin to family, who we are not afraid to share our deepest fears and anxieties with. We feel safe with him both physically and emotionally, confident that he is someone who will be there for us. We look forward to more productive and more meaningful association with Dr. Hernandez and we wish many more will come to know him, as well. We certainly are not putting any pressure on the good doctor with unreasonable expectations because we know that all patients at Primary Medicine of Sherman are being treated equal. We just want him to know that we are grateful for all that he has done for our family. Thank you, Dr. Robert Hernandez!

NOT IMPRESSED! And NO DESIRE TO EVER RETURN and would NOT RECOMMEND to my Worst Enemy!…read more HOWEVER, Nursing Staff was Wonderful, Friendly, and Concerned about this Patient! HOSPITAL DID NOT CARE AT All! LAST Involved Doctor, Issued an Order that he was concerned about possible Stent Blood Clotting that might be taking place! So he was NOT going to Release Me UNTIL he conducted ONE last Test "Just to be Sure". (Patient greatly Appreciated his Professionalism and CONCERN!) HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT, I'd give a "0"! After installing a Drug Coated Heart Stent, I was having some Negative Issues. Doctor told COMPETENT Nursing Staff that HE, due to Negative Symptoms Patient was Experiencing, that BEFORE I was to be Released, he wanted to conduct a last Test to verify I was NOT having any Blood Clotting Issues in new Stent. Had me NEEDLESSLY STAY, and PAY FOR, another 2 days! Day of Scheduled Test, later in day, 2 different CONCERNED Nurses came in and Asked if I had heard WHEN the Doctor was going to do his Test? Told them I have NOT HEARD ANYTHING! Later in day, another Nurse came in and asked the same question as the other 2. AGAIN, told her I had NO IDEA! She went to check on my Scheduled Heart Imaging and said she WILL FIND OUT and let me know! SHE NEVER RETURNED! Obviously, SOMEONE gave a "STAND DOWN ORDER" to let the Patient PASS. NEVER Told Nurses, nor PATIENT, that My Best Interest Concerns had been CANCELED! I was, and Still Am, Concerned about my Health and having even MORE Negative Issues that Appear to be related to New Heart Stent. Based on what I have read, I AM LIVING IN FEAR of having ANOTHER, Possibly FATAL, Heart Attack!!! GIVEN NO CHOICE but to Meet with a Personal Injury ATTY next week in case my Heart FAILS and for my Family to consult with!

Treated with kindness and respect, excellent care and communication . Staff went above and beyond…read moreexpectations.

I had successful surgery thanks to his recommendation. I've been with them since they opened their office here in Sherman and recommend them to all. I left a message to ask a question of the doctor and three weeks later still no answer. When I called to cancel an appointment two days in advance and set up an appointment for an injury that required urgent care I was met with short, snappy, unprofessional communication. Clearly Amelia was annoyed to talk with me and yelled at me that she has put in a million pre authorizations for medication prescribed and she refused to do it this time when it was prescribed and she received the request. I let her know I can see I am annoying her and I am good and ended the call. This person called my phone number three times and left a very rude voice mail telling me she would "let Dr. Justin know about this phone call." Hopefully they have recorded monitoring and he can listen to the call and hear how she talks to patients. Also, I can leave a doctor office if they have a terrible office staff if I choose. I shouldn't be harassed by the entitled office staff that refuses to do their job and instead calls me to attempt to scold me twisting the conversation as evident by the voicemail she left. Now 6/26 I got a letter dated 6/15 that they are choosing to drop me as a patient, of course it's received over ten past when it's dated. I highly recommend just staying away unless you enjoy a dumpster fire office.
