When we arrived, Sheri, greeted us warmly and escorted us into a very comfortable room where the procedure would take place. Her business, Visions of Love Ultrasound specializes in 3D/4S Ultrasound images. The room where the procedure takes place has a comfortable bed, shelves with plush animals, and monitors all over so that everyone in the room has a clear view. I was impressed at how patient Sheri was and how she masterfully positions both mother and baby so that she is able to get some amazing shots. Sheri takes her time in order to make sure everyone is comfortable and that she gets images everyone is happy with.

Third time was for the 3D photos, again babygirl was being stubborn but we were able to get good shots eventually, I don't recall the lady's name but she was amazing the 3x I went, definitely very patient and nice with us. Also, a radiologist no longer looks at the mammogram right away. Instead she let me know that my dr would get the results in 5 - 7 days. I've never had to wait on results at any place before including here, but I guess they've changed things over the last year. Update: I got my results and they said no change year over year. I find that hard to believe, considering I have a golf ball size lump there that definitely wasn't there the year before. I called and asked that they look at it again. They never called me back. I called today to see if a radiologist had looked at it yet. And no, a radiologist still hasn't looked at it but said a mammogram tech looked at it and maybe it's a cyst. So, I would say to absolutely never go here. You can not count on a radiologist looking at your scans. Now, next week I am going to get looked at somewhere else because it's now baseball size. North Star has prevented me from getting proper treatment for over a month now due to their slow results, lack of care, and not having a radiologist look over scans.

The…read moreMammographer was very chatty and kept rubbing her ungloved hands all over the machine in all the places I was going to come in contact with it. I had to ask her to clean it. She did, then switched out a panel that hadn't been cleaned while I was getting the scan. I had to ask about that and she just assured me it was clean. I went ahead with the scan because she just continued like she was in a hurry. I'm sure they are busy and I should have insisted it be cleaned. I have low confidence they are following disinfection protocols. I went directly home and showered with Hibiclens to disinfect anything I may have come in contact with. She let me know it would take a little longer to get results because they had to transfer my images from my old imaging provider. I got my results about two weeks later that stated they could not compare to past images because they didn't receive my images from last provider. I don't think they tried to get them. I can't in good conscience recommend this healthcare provider.

He was calm, articulate, patient, empathetic to my high state of nervousness, and took time to explain the process to me in detail. He even offered to play music, so I asked to listen to his playlist - and it put me at ease. He slowly numbed the injection site until he could proceed with me being comfortable. I felt a slight pressure - nothing else - no pain at all, it was remarkable. Everyone told me it would be excruciatingly painful. It is my experience on 10/21/2025 with Dr. Hoang that he is the physician to request any such procedure. My deepest and most sincere thanks, Dr. Hoang. I was told they'd be open, and received several emails to confirm my appointment as well as a text message to confirm, only to drive 45 minutes to arrive at a closed facility. The owner claimed to have sent me text messages saying the sonographer was out because of an emergency surgery but I did not receive said messages or any calls or emails. Very disappointing and unacceptable. They tried to blame me for their mistake by saying I put the wrong number on file, but I came here in 2022 and they had no problem sending messages to the number on file then. Then her comments like.. * It's going to hurt so bad. Just get the epidural. After being told that we were using a midwife and doing a water birth. That should usually trigger someone that this birth is a natural birth. When she said that we asked her clearly shocked why would you say that or encourage people to get an epidural, she carried on and then said, well maybe it just hurt me so bad because I'm so petite. Girl. What?? Maybe some people just have a really low pain tolerance. * After that awkward encounter that almost made us get up and leave she had the audacity to say, it has a really big head and has to go through that little space right there. That's your birth canal. So the big head has to go through there. That's a really big umbilical cord. * Yes she said it. She kept referring to him as an it. * I have three kids, I know what I'm talking about. * Is the dad so excited? Where is he? He must have had to work today that's why he missed the appointment. *Look, Look, look. Look here. Look. So rushy and naggish. There is a dozen other things that made our eyebrows raise but those were the worst. Oh and the pushing for tips. That's crazy. I just paid almost $200 for this sonogram. You are a sonogram tech. That's what I'm paying for. That's like tipping your dentist or doctor. And having to go into the screen, select custom and enter zero is crazy. I recently had an MRI at NorthStar Diagnostic Imaging , Allen, and I have to say... I was not expecting to leave smiling after voluntarily entering what is essentially a very polite, high-tech tube. But here we are. From the moment I walked in, the staff operated like a well-rehearsed pit crew--efficient, friendly, and reassuring without overdoing it. There's a calm professionalism in the air that makes you feel like you're in very capable hands (and not about to be launched into orbit... probably). And then there's Zahra--the MRI professional who deserves her own spotlight. If there were an Employee of the Month (EOM) hall of fame, she'd already have a reserved parking space. Clear instructions, great energy, and just the right amount of humor to make the whole process smooth and surprisingly pleasant. She turned what could have been a tense experience into something that felt easy and even--dare I say--enjoyable. I only found out after a recent visit and not until after when insurance settled and they wanted the remainder due, I found then the credit was applied. I called them twice to alert and politely complain about them having my $$ for 2 years. No explanation other than it was applied to your bill. Good customer service would have returned my money long ago. I wonder how many others are due money and have no clue. I'll choose others for service going forward.
