Luckily enough for me, one of my friends had gotten her eyebrows microbladed and recommended that I go to Honey Permanent Makeup. I'm very happy that I got the recommendation because Maria is awesome! I had made an appointment over a month in advance, so that I could heal during a time at work where I wouldn't be around too many people. Maria does request that you put down a deposit for any of your visits and you just pay the remainder of your service the day of. Honey Permanent Makeup is located off of Gum Branch, by the Half Moon Fire Department and is in the back of a shared space. Before my first appointment (you will have your initial appointment and then a follow up appointment about two months later) Maria contacted me and let me know it was her and some information about where she is and if you had questions to feel free to ask. When I did arrive for my appointment, I was greeted right away and after getting settled, we started the consultation portion of the visit. She asked how I wanted to get my brows done, recommended looking at her previous work (she let me look from her IPad) and let her know what I liked. After agreeing to how things would be done, she went ahead and mapped my brows and put numbing cream on. She provided a blanket and went to work. She also makes sure to explain the different steps she'll take, the coloring that she'll use and if I honestly did not fall asleep, she would have most likely spent the time explaining what she was doing to my brows. I didn't start to feel anything until closer to the end of our session and she only had a small little area to touch up so the slight sting was worth it. Afterwards, she explained the healing process, gave me a pamphlet with information, and also gave me products to help with the healing process. She doesn't do the dry healing and will give you some soap and an oil that you can put on your brows. The healing process went well and I went to her for my follow up appointment. When we did our follow up, she asked if there was anything that I would like to change in the shape or color and there wasn't much that I changed from her initial work. The follow up didn't take as long, but was similar to the first visit. At the end of my appointment, she asked if I needed any more of the products she initially gave me and let me know if I had any questions, to please contact her. Overall, if you're looking to get your eyebrows microbladded I would highly recommend seeing Maria at Honey Permanent Makeup!!
