I've personally made the switch from franchises and beauty chains to specifically choosing small businesses. I've been a client of Bianca's for a while and I never thought of leaving a review until now!! I see a lot of people complaining about the cancellation policy but tbh it's crazy to me that people still don't respect solo beauty entrepreneurs policies ??? It's 2025 and these people are tearing a woman down because they didn't want to be charged for the cancellation policy that they agreed to when they got online and booked themselves and put their own card on file for..... I feel like people still live with "the customer is always right" and all of these reviews are baseless. You go to get sugared or waxed and a dang good one too. If you cancel within 24 hours... yes you have to pay a % because y'all didn't have the courtesy to cancel in a reasonable time frame. Bianca is skilled and still very reasonably priced. If you are wanting to play games, and cancel, go to a wax center chain that can afford to play your games. 0 Stars If Possible Please do read the Yelp reviews as I was not aware of the severity on the multiple cases that occurred with people regarding her cancellation. Although I do understand this is a relatively small business, the "cancellation policy" along with the fee is ridiculous. While I understand the fee, most businesses typically charge $20 or 10% of the service. It was at the 22 hour mark after multiple attempts to reach her prior with no email linked to the business. A business would value their customers and understand that some people have unforeseen circumstances, my own business understands this. I would not be able to trust a business that values money over their customers with that an unauthorized transaction has also been placed on my card by the business. Having to move to try to find a good sugaring salon, this has put a horrible taste in my mouth and to be more cautious in where I choose to go to. read more

I've been traveling a lot. And it has been 52 weeks since I've seen Bianca. Happy to say, her routine and techniques haven't changed. She's still the same girl, with the same great personality giving the same phenomenal service! I don't typically book ahead in advance, I just normally message her to see if she have any openings. Somehow, she always manages to fit me in to her schedule. I love how quick and responsive she is. So just a little advice, if you look at her calendar and you can't find a spot that would accommodate you, just message her in case she does have openings that day. She is very accommodating and she is very reasonable. Now to the waxing part, she makes sure that she gets EVERYTHING, and will NOT leave you hanging. Literally. She is not afraid to bring out those tweezers and tweeze away all those little short stubby hairs. She is your dream waxer. Think twice. Good work. Horrible customer service. My first time experience with Bianca was great that I referred my mom and sisters to her. This would have been my third visit. But I noticed her attention to detail is inconsistent. Once I had to grab the tweezers from her to tweeze myself(Brazilian Wax). Unsure if it was bad lighting or just eye sight. But she had missed some obvious spots. Figured it was an off day. What made me no longer want to give her my business was just morale, lack of empathy and bad customer service. My 9 mth pregnant sister cancelled her appointment at 24 hr. mark and Bianca charged her 80% of the service as a late cancellation $50.00 to a potential long term client this was her first time. She didn't even give my sister an option of keeping appt. or rescheduling. She just charged her right away before she responded to my sisters request+questions in regard to her appt. I get it you're busy. We chose to spend the little bit of money we have on YOUR small business. RULE 1 of business no matter how amazing your work is: Customer service will make or break you. You can also be sweet but if customer service is not there. You'll be out of business. Rule 2: Word of mouth is the best marketing. Rule 3: Take care of your business. This is your livelihood. Very unprofessional. Doesn't respect her own cancellation policy. Was excited to get a wax from Bianca per my sisters referral. I requested a cancellation exactly 24 hrs in advance, to which she confirmed the cancellation just a couple mins into the 24 hrs. window. I was SHOCKED to see a $46.50 charge on my card for late cancellation it was one of my concerns prior to cancelling but thought I was in the clear per policy. I figured I'd go ahead and ask if she'd be able to waive since I was only a couple mins into the 24 hrs. From being very responsive matter of one min responses, I asked about cancellation fee and she disappeared and was unresponsive until the following day. It almost seemed like she intentionally wanted the 24 hr. window to pass to charge the fee or didn't know how to professionally handle the situation. I came in a few days before my wedding for a Brazilian. I was nervous and self conscious because of my post-babies body. I was also nervous due to previous painful waxing experiences. Like another person stated, Bianca professionalism is absolutely horrible when it comes to the cancellation policy. I have never used her, and booked an appointment for a sugar on a Tuesday morning for an appointment on Thursday morning. I learned by Tuesday evening I had to leave town and wouldn't be able to make it. When I went into the system to cancel, it said to contact her directly. It was late so I decided to wait until the morning. That said, I had virtual meetings until about 10am and texted her immediately after, actually at 9:58am. The appointment was booked for the next day at 9am. She charged me for not being within the 24 hours. Respecting a cancellation policy is one thing, but charging a person who has never even been to your salon before, and had very little wiggle room to cancel and was only an hour off when I did (also due to her website not allowing me to cancel the evening before), is pretty bad business. My close friend owns an amazing sugaring salon in San Francisco. I know what its like for her when she's dealing with last minute cancelations. However, as a smart business owner who actually cares about people, she is considerate of specific situations and is fair when necessary. Bad business. Big disappointment. read more
