When our original venue fell through last minute, Jess reached out immediately, not to talk business, but to genuinely check on me and see how I was holding up. She also recommended the replacement venue that we ended up with which was arguably better and ultimately saved the day. From there, she went so far above and beyond. She spent hours on the phone with me helping us prepare, answering every question, offering guidance, and sharing her knowledge of our new venue. She honestly felt like an additional wedding planner at times! She was incredibly responsive, organized, timely, and never once made me feel like I was asking too many questions. She even helped us be cost conscious by sending a purchase order for the alcohol, and she literally left no detail or question unanswered. Everything turned out perfectly. We had our ceremony by the lake with just a few family members and it was a beautiful day, we moved to the lodge for the reception, and everyone had a great time. The space was just the right size for everyone (we had 90 guests). The outdoor area had tables which a lot of guests spent time outside, which was very nice. The maid of honor opened a bottle of Champaign for the bride and her maids while they where dressing... That's when shit hit the fan... I don't know what was said exactly but bottom line was this..... the owners daughter said they broke the rules and cuz the maid of honor wouldn't allow her to take the bottle of Champaign , she had to leave the property. This was the maid of honor/sister of the bride!!! ARE YOU KIDDING??!!!! She said no hard liquor. . Lmao!! RAMP certification would be helpful here!!! Champain is a wine, not a liqure.
