The salad was unimaginative and very plain. I did not (nor did my fellow guests) like the vinaigrette that was served on the side. Most of the items were typical mass manufactured previously frozen appetizers, like spanokopita, among other things. There was a tray of the egg rolls they brag about. Maybe popping something in the oven and dressing the plate up at the restaurant works for these items. But to make a bunch of them and transport in a hotel pan, left many of them soggy and there really is no way to dress that up. They served a large amount of quinoa salad. But the grains we're not rinsed enough and would have benefited from more heat. There's a very bitter taste that needs to be washed off the grains and they were simply undercooked. Then, lastly, I recognized the bread. That is one of the only complaints I have in their restaurant. It is way too pale and doughy. If it was refreshed and browned in the oven, it would be exponentially better.

For our main course we selected the lemon ricotta pasta, the chimichurri steak tips and the sea bass skewers (you don't see sea bass on menus often and this one shouldn't be missed- it's incredible) . We were all so happy with all of our delicious meals (I even took bread to get every bite on my sea bass entree). First, I must mention that I never write reviews. I always read reviews, but I never take the time…read moreto write them. Actually, this is the first one I have ever written. Vicky and Jim at vjmStudios are absolutely amazing. My fiance and I are currently planning our wedding in July, and chose Vicky and Jim as our photographers. We were very nervous in choosing a photographer, as we are picky about the quality of photography and really want our photos to be beautiful. We even went in planning our wedding agreeing that we would spend the most on photography because the photos mean so much to us. To our surprise, vjmStudios is the perfect combination of high quality photography, personable photographers, and an affordable price! Currently, my fiance and I are designing our invitations. We really want our invitations to be personal and customized, so we decided to use our engagement photos in them. I haven't been the easiest bride to deal with in choosing which engagement photos to use, yet Jim responds right away when I call (or calls me back as soon as possible) and sends me different versions of the engagement photos the same day. He even takes the time to edit them differently so that they fit into the invitations and look nice! In choosing our theme, we decided that a different photograph (that was not part of our engagement package) of where the wedding will be would be nice to incorporate in our guest bags/decorations/etc. We called Vicky and Jim to see if this would be possible, expecting that it probably wouldn't be, and Jim said it would be absolutely no problem. We did pay an additional small fee for the photograph (which is completely understandable), but what really impressed me is that Jim made a special trip to the location to take the photo so that we could use it for our wedding! My fiance and I have had pretty good experiences with our vendors for the most part so far, but vjmStudios has by far impressed us the most. It is so hard to find passionate and dedicated vendors anymore. We are very excited for our wedding day, especially since Vicky and Jim will be our photographers. I am not nervous at all about their service the day of the wedding (which is pretty rare!), but actually feel more comfortable and at ease that we chose Vicky and Jim. If I remember (I have a bad memory... so my apologies if I forget), I will come back on here and give another review of vjmStudios after our wedding. I am confident that the review will be consistent with this one. If you are looking for a photographer (for a wedding, senior photos, etc.), and are nervous about which one to pick, I know exactly how you feel. I highly recommend that you choose Vicky and Jim, because if you do, you will be in good hands.

I really like this hotel. It's a little boutique style hotel run by Hilton. In my opinion it's a…read moreboutique style because of the decorations and motif definitely Penn State driven hallway is really messed you up when you're walking down them because of the bookshelf style wallpaper room is nice, clean and comfortable. The only thing negative I have to say is that the quick service drinks in the restaurant are a tad bit overpriced, but it's a hotel so you can always expect a little bit more money. There's plenty of places around if you want to go to the store. Oh, and the bed is comfortable so far we'll see how I feel at the end of the week. And the coolest thing the room keys are old student ID from Penn State.

Having stayed at many Hiltons, this was incredibly disappointing. Outside of front desk team…read moremembers being friendly, the overall experience has been well below general expectations for a Hilton - and even basic expectations of any hotel! Some serious concerns about this hotel: 1- First night the air conditioning would not work. It was uncomfortably hot in the room. Called the front desk and the person said no one was around to help - so "just open a window." We did, and had an evening with an open window with no screen. Luckily no daredevil squirrels climbed in and no birds - or bats - chose to invade our space! 2- After three days - there had been no room service. No fresh towels - no emptying of trash - and no replacement of toilet paper. This was after I was leaving the room one day and "room service" was at the door and, in a somewhat rude manner, asked: "Do you want room service?" I said - "oh yes - thank you - I was just leaving." She appeared to go into the room - but I have no idea what she did as, again, no towels were changed out, trash was still in the trash cans, and beds were not made. 3- We ran out of toilet paper, so we asked for some - and then went out. I have included a picture of what we found upon our return - toilet paper left outside of the room - not even brought into the room and put on the roller. 4- An unexplained charge appeared on my card from the hotel - at 11:11 PM when the whole family was in bed. I inquired on this, and as of this time, no one at the hotel can figure out what was charged - still waiting on that to hopefully be explained and, if in error, resolved. 5- The treadmill in the gym has been broken and out of order - as such, I had to go to Planet Fitness. Yet, we have been charged a $10/day "resort fee." This is NOT a resort - and am entirely unclear what this $10 a day charge is going toward. 6- While hot water worked in the morning - by 9:00 PM we did not have any hot water. I called and the person at the front desk said "oh, just keep the water running - it has to come from the other side of the building so it takes awhile to heat up." Uhm, we left it running for about 10 minutes - just cold water. I am unsure how this hotel was allowed to have the Hilton name. Needless to say, we will not be staying here again.
