I came across yourweddingmagic.net (YWM) / Jason (DJ Breez), through a referral from my daughter's wedding planner. She said that she had enjoyed working with him and his amazing team on a couple of past events, she said that he provided DJ service, photography, videography, photo booths, etc., basically that he was a one-stop-shop. Unfortunately, she told me all of that a little too late, I had already hired and paid for the DJ, and my daughter had already hired a videographer (a friend of my now son in law), however, he does not do photography only videography, so he referred me to someone else, of course there was no discount for hiring this recommended photographer, no bundle or package, just two separate vendors with two separate high price tags. So, I took a chance and called Breez, to get a quote for just his photography service, he was so easy to talk to that I ended up explaining my predicament to him. He was so understanding, so empathetic, and just so wonderful. His personality was astonishing, and his laugh was infectious. He did not come off as pushy at all, he came across as incredibly confident in his work. He sent me several samples of his photos and videos and took the time to tell me about the awesome stories behind some of them. I instantly knew that this was the guy that I wanted and needed to capture my daughter's wedding day. He quoted me for just his photography service, like I had asked him to. Then he went above and beyond and quoted me his price for doing BOTH the videography and the photography services, just so I could get a clearer picture of how much more quality work I could buy for a lot less money simply by using him for both services. After showing my kids his work and telling them his price, it was settled, we hired YWM. For months prior to the wedding, Jason called and texted to check on us and see how we were doing. He reassured me not only that the pictures and videos were going to be great but the whole day was, he could feel my stress and he cared enough to calm me. I have found a friend in him for life, and I am so grateful that God crossed our paths. On the morning of my daughter's wedding day, Breez and his team arrived promptly and professionally, and then they divided and conquered. Adnan, the videographer/producer/director, went to the venue where the guys were getting ready. Kiara, the photographer/coordinator, went to the Airbnb where the girls were getting ready. Breez was going back and forth between all the locations, including the church, doing boss things, snapping pictures, and ensuring that nothing was missed. I can't stress enough how amazing this team was/is, they reunited at the church seamlessly and worked together flawlessly, they worked behind the scenes with the church coordinator and the priest, to make sure they understood the church rules and they didn't break them. They kept in constant communication with myself and my kids from the beginning while we were getting ready, at the church, and at the reception, to make sure that they were delivering the kind of pictures we actually wanted. At the reception, you never even noticed them, they were everywhere, but they didn't interrupt the actual party. The kids, the wedding party, the guests, and even the venue staff members were having an amazing time and this team just captured the naturalness of it all. These three amazing humans, Jason, Adnan, and Kiara, never looked tired, frustrated, or put out, from the beginning of the morning to the bubble send off, they maintained their positive energies and their bright personalities stayed sharp, which kept everyone involved happy and smiling the entire day and night. I cannot thank you guys enough for capturing all the extra candid moments that are normally missed and for capturing fun, creative, and unique photos and videos along with the traditional ones that we will cherish forever. DO NOT HIRE! Would give 0 stars if I could!! We were married on September 20th and hired Jason for our wedding DJ, photography, and videography services. We paid our balance in full prior to the wedding, as requested. Unfortunately, the experience after the wedding has been extremely stressful and disappointing. Jason spoke a lot about his quick turnaround time before we booked, which was one of the reasons we chose him. However, that has not been our experience. In addition, we never saw the assistant that was included in our package, and the day-of coordinator did not ensure our requested photo list was shared with the photographer, which led to some frustrations on the wedding day as well. We are now six months after our wedding date and still do not have our uncut and edited wedding video, and several items took repeated follow-ups just to receive. Communication has been very inconsistent, and many of the timelines we were given for receiving our photos and video have not been met. Over the past several months we have tried to remain patient and understanding, but it has been very difficult not knowing when we will actually receive the rest of what we paid for. These are once-in-a-lifetime memories that couples trust their photographer and videographer to capture and deliver. At this point, we are simply hoping to receive the remaining deliverables in full and in the quality that was promised. I would strongly encourage couples considering booking to make sure clear delivery timelines and expectations are included in writing before signing a contract or better yet book with someone else. ETA: Just discovered that he played the wrong song for my girls to walk down the aisle to. I talked to him 2 days before the wedding to go over everything and put it in the app like he asked well ahead of time. The morning of our wedding he text me asking about what songs I wanted played for our entrances. He had the correct songs, wrong order so I told him the correct order. I shouldn't be having that type of conversation the morning of. He still managed to skip the song all together and played the same song for my husband and girls to walk down to. ETA: May 2026 - ended up having to take to small claims court. We won the case, but will probably never get our money from him unfortunately. Have been able to hire the videographer to edit the video for us, for a price of course, since Jason didn't pay him their agreed upon price. read more

Please be aware and don't fall for this scam. During our initial conversation, he sounded incredibly energetic and made it seem like he would go above and beyond to make my sister's wedding unforgettable. Unfortunately, he did make it unforgettable--but for all the wrong reasons. I hired him for both photography and videography as a wedding gift for my sister. He charged a premium price, but the way he spoke and the excitement in his voice made me believe he genuinely cared about his work and would deliver an amazing experience. The first red flag was that he didn't even show up to the wedding himself. Instead, he sent two other people to cover the event. I was willing to overlook that because I assumed the final product would be worth it. After the wedding, he gave me multiple delivery timelines for the photos, edited photos, and the highlight video. Every deadline came and went with excuse after excuse. Now, six months later, he has completely stopped responding and still hasn't delivered anything. I truly wish I had read his Yelp reviews before hiring him. After everything happened, I discovered that many other customers had the exact same experience--promises, excuses, months of delays, and then being completely ignored. ZERO stars. The communication was terrible, the wedding went horribly. DO NOT hire. "Jason" was not my DJ, he sent someone named Anthony. Attached shows lack of communication days before the wedding Attached is also my day of coordinators email. EMAIL I sent him below: I wanted to reach out regarding several issues we experienced with your services at our wedding on 10/11. Unfortunately, the performance did not meet expectations or the agreed-upon standards, and I wanted to share the specific concerns for your awareness and resolution. Throughout the evening, the DJ repeatedly approached me -- the bride -- with questions and complaints, interrupting my time with family and guests. My coordinator was present and attempting to handle all communication, yet he continued to come to me directly instead of working through her as planned. When we were introduced as husband and wife, the DJ immediately began playing our first dance song without any pause or announcement, leaving no time for guests to be seated or for us to prepare. We had to begin dancing awkwardly right upon entry. During our dance, despite clear instructions in the app to "fade when necessary." I had to personally signal him to fade the song -- during my own first dance. The same issue occurred during the father-daughter AND mother-son dances. He announced the wrong sequence (calling for a "couple's dance" instead of the father-daughter dance) and again required direction from me to fade out the songs at appropriate times. ME THE BRIDE. Additionally, there were significant issues during cocktail hour. The DJ failed to make any announcements or guide guests, resulting in confusion as people began visiting the food truck while we were still taking photos. He also did not play background music consistently, and one of my bridesmaids had to ask him to start playing music while guests were eating. Overall, there was a complete lack of MC presence, coordination, and leadership throughout the evening. It felt as though he had never worked a wedding before, which unfortunately disrupted the flow of our event and created unnecessary stress. Service wasn't bad. The food was not so wonderful. Not much taste. We expected better. Our friends bragged about this restaurant. We thought to give it a try. The portions were quite small as well. Maybe because all the prices have gone up since Covid, the sacrifice is also to serve smaller portions. It's not a place I would rush to first to entertain friends or treat them to dinner. read more

I am not one to complain, but at this point, I don't want other brides going through what I am. I got married on October 28th, 2023 and I still have not received my wedding video. I was sent a version of the video that was not edited on June 5th, 2024, and quickly realized that footage that was on my must-have list was not included in the video. I told him multiple times how important that footage was for us before the wedding and the day of the wedding. Whenever I reach out about the video, I get a different excuse and do not get clear answers. It has been almost a year and a half, and the excuse of you having to do something for the weekend is not valid after so much time.  I wish the video was the only issue. The day of the wedding was so stressful and thinking back to the day, just aggravates me. The day of coordinator made all of the girls uncomfortable with just showing up in our area where we were getting ready, stopping everyone to just chat when we were trying to get stuff ready, and overall just being weird. I don't want to sound rude, but my girls feeling uncomfortable was not okay. I took him to where the wedding party would be walking out and told him exactly how I wanted everyone to walk out of the barn and even how I wanted the doors closed and at what points. That was COMPLETELY ignored. He told the groomsmen to get to the SIDE of the barn OUTSIDE and wait for the girls to come out... exactly opposite of what I said. I now have a group of guys shoved to the side in the back of multiple of my pictures. It was sloppy and he completely ignored what I said. After the ceremony, DJ told the guests to relocate for "cocktail hour"... we were not serving alcohol at our wedding.  Overall, everything felt rushed and forced and it was hard to just enjoy the day. I've probably missed something, but you get the point. Looking back, it just aggravates me and I really shouldn't have those thoughts about one of the most important days of my life. Here I am 34 weeks pregnant, a year and a half later still worrying about stuff I shouldn't have to be worried about. My daughter got married at Cattlet Farm on the Cape Fear in November. DJ Breez was affordable, had great equipment, and most importantly did an amazing job. It was a small wedding with guests ranging in age from 6 years old to 80 years old. He really got the party going and kept it going all evening. I'm not sure how he did it but everyone had an amazing time dancing and using the 360 camera. I am really grateful for everything they did to help make the day stress free, and also, an evening that the bride, groom and their guests will remember fondly for a long time. He really went above and beyond to make the day wonderful. I can't wait to see the pictures and videos! He is worth every dollar and so are the extra options if your venue allows it. My wedding was coming up and unexpectedly my fiancé ended up getting deployed. He's active military so we figured this was a possibility but our nightmare became a reality. with a lot of consideration, we had to postpone our wedding indefinitely and we are both so sadden by this. Most of our wedding vendors weren't as understanding, or willing to work with us, however Jason (the owner of DJ breez/Your wedding magic.) was able to help me figure out a strategy and figure a plan out for the future. He was one of the most UNDERSTANDING and Kind-hearted people to work with, he helped me figure out what to do next. We wanted to get a chance to work with him, because of how easy & painless the entire process of not only having to cancel our wedding was, but also booking with him and coming up with a good idea to fit our theme with our wedding!
