DJ Grammer was our DJ for our wedding on 11/14/25 at Wedgewood San Ramon. Right off the bat, we knew we were in good hands as he went over every single detail about our big day and took note of it - from syncing up with our officiant, to song cues throughout the ceremony, to cocktail hour music, to grand entrance details, to dance floor music, to any other activities/details that we may have throughout the night, etc. There was never any pressure from him - If we were still undecided on certain details or if we were to make any changes up until our big day, he was always accommodating and responsive! What impressed me the most about DJ Grammer was his attention to detail. You can tell he truly wants to make your special day special. My wife wanted a particular song to be cut up a certain way as we left the altar, and he did it so well that I thought it was how the song originally sounded! We also did a labubu toss later on in the night, and he played the labubu song (which we didn't know existed) to help set the mood! What also impressed me about DJ Grammer was how well he "kept the party going". Remember, he is not just there to play music, but to make sure your event is running smoothly. During cocktail hour, he would constantly check up on us to see what guests he could call up through the speaker system, for pictures. He also feels out the vibes in the room, and delivers accordingly. We had a crossword puzzle activity that guests could complete and turn it in for a prize drawing later on in the night. DJ Grammer came up to my wife and I and pointed out that we only had two submissions right before the drawing. He then suggested we could incentivize the crowd for more submissions, if we go around and show off the prizes. He helped announce all of this and hyped up the crowd, as my wife and I went around each table showing off the prizes - and it ended up working as we got a lot more submissions! For the music, we gave him several playlists to work off of, and he chose the perfect songs based off of crowd vibes! He even went up to my brother and asked what nationality we were, and he played popular songs from our country which helped liven up the dance floor! All in all, DJ Grammer is a master at his craft, and you will not regret having him as your DJ. He helped make our special day smooth, lively, and enjoyable - my guests even complemented his work. I've never worked with any other DJs so this review is a little biased, but Chris really set the bar. I highly recommend him for any DJ needs you or your friends have! I'm not great in making playlists or knowing what specific music I like since I listen to everything. I brought my scattered brain to Chris at our first meeting for my wedding, and he was patient in asking me and my husband what eras and genres we particularly liked. At the day of our event, I think he could gauge really quickly what generation our guests were from so he played the right nostalgic music that got everyone so excited. He somehow knew exactly what music to play based off the few genres we gave him for cocktail hour, the ceremony, and the reception. He gets the vibes!! I told him what song I wanted to walk down the aisle to, and he gave me a few different renditions to choose from. I picked one but wanted it slower, and he returned a sample super quickly and it was perfect. We had a Beauty and the Beast theme so I wanted our projection to match their movie logo, and I was so shocked that he made it happen. We absolutely loved it and our guests kept complimenting it. He also made sure to find me the day of to run through the list of songs we had for first dances, etc, and indicate where he would be starting the song to make sure we were satisfied. One of my bridesmaids planned to sing a song with two other guests, and Chris was flexible in being available for rehearsals the week of and day of. The whole process of working with Chris was amazing and we could not have asked for a better DJ and host for our wedding! Chris was literally the best. Our wedding was last month. It was a pleasure having Chris and without a doubt he made our wedding exponentially better. He is kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful.
