Ahead of the wedding, Lovepreet had a couple calls with us to walk through the day and gave us good pointers on what would work best for our specific wedding. We had a mixed cultural wedding and we appreciated how well Lovepreet was able to cater to that. Lovepreet also had a great website for song selection, that made it clear what songs needed to be selected for which moments (all of which aligned with the plans we had discussed with him prior). Lovepreet was flexible in giving us the time we needed to make our song selections and was available for connecting when we had questions. On our wedding day, Lovepreet was professional and flawless in his delivery. He added a ton of fun and charm throughout the day and set a good vibe for the crowd. We had to swap our dj last minute due to some logistics and we were worried how DJ Love would work with us last minute but he crushed it. Our reception was literally so fun because of him. Our biggest compliment from friends and family is "it was so fun" and that's all anyone wants to hear. You'll forget the decor but you will not forget the amount of fun you had and that comes a lot from the vibe your DJ creates. We originally went with another DJ, but decided to move away from the vendor because he was not responsive. 1.5 months before our wedding we contacted Desi Jammers and they were able to accommodate us last minute. We had a cultural fusion wedding: Chinese + Indian + American. I'm Chinese and my husband is Indian and we grew up most of our lives in America. Our wedding was 2 days and we had different vibes we were going for each day. Our wedding was also complicated and we had a lot of content from Lion Dancers, a vow ceremony that required projectors/screen set up, video slideshows, choreographed dance performance, baraat with dhol player, and more. DJ Love and his team delivered without a hiccup! DJ Love was great in helping us in the planning process. Created a very structured google doc to help us plan and organize the wedding. I read all these amazing reviews and contacted them. It was so easy and they confirmed our event verbally with rates and everything. We were contacting them with any questions and prompt response. They mentioned that they will send contract to sign.... and that's the end of it. called 20 times, sent messages and what not... NO RESPONSE. Honestly, when I first talked to Lovepreet on the phone, I was concerned he might be overconfident, but I think he proved his value. DJ Love was super helpful throughout the postponement process which was very much appreciated, given the difficult circumstances for families and vendors alike. My husband and I live in DC but were getting married in Fremont, CA...my husband is extremely picky and wanted to fly over a DJ from DC, one that he knew and could work with from here. However, our planner, Nupur Behl, insisted that we at least look into DjLove...and from our initial interactions, we agreed that it would be the right thing to do! We do not regret it! From detailed discussions, to dealing with parents' concerns, to having patience through any hiccups (e.g. dance floor), to even willing to stay the extra hour we requested...it was amazing! I was looking forward to working with Desi Jammers Entertainment for my wedding due to the rave reviews I saw on various websites. However, I setup 3 separate consultation calls that DJ Love missed every time due to calendar issues and other conflicts. This happened even though I chose the available times for a consultation call on his calendar. We all live busy lives, and I set aside time to spend on a 1 hour long call with him multiple times. When I tried, one final time, to setup a call after returning from a trip abroad, I did not hear back from him. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and indifference. If I had so many issues just trying to setup a consultation, I'm not sure what would have happened if I ended up hiring them for my wedding. read more

We hired desi jammer for a dandiya event in pleasanton based on high reviews on yelp. - Intially Love was supposed to do the DJ for the event which was changed to Raman. - There was significant lack of communication. Music selection went till the last day of the event due to lack of communication. - It was understood that event is in a hall and there is a possiblity of echo. Love and Raman were expected to keep thsi echo issue to minimum based on their knowledge of sound and music. It turned out to be completely opposite. Amount of echo was very high and music for the event turned out to be a disaster. Anything you say on microphone was comletely in audible. Very disappointing. read more

We hired Desi Jammers Entertainment to DJ our Indian-fusion wedding and Sangeet in Carmel earlier this month. DJ Love and his team were absolutely fantastic! Our wedding was about evenly split between Indian and non-Indian guests, and DJ Love struck the perfect balance of playing tracks that appealed to all parts of our crowd. The dance floor was totally packed for all of our events -- in fact, the folks at our venue (which hosts many large weddings) told us that they had never seen so many people dance so late into the night! He was very responsive and organized, answering our numerous questions and providing online resources to keep all the details in order. Lack of communication after you give DJ Love your deposit. Initially he will tell you everything you want to hear and how they understand a wedding is the most important day of your lives. He forgot our wedding entrance songs which caused chaos and stress right before entering. He never apologizes and instead blames us and makes us feel even worse. It was our moment that he took away because he never answers texts, phone calls, emails on time. Than he goes over everything 2 weeks before the wedding and tells us to do organize things the way he wants it otherwise he closes the excel spreadsheet for songs. Again, we were done with everything 2 months prior however we had to wait on him because he never responds. On the day of the wedding his excuse was that he did a wedding for another person with same name last week and that's why he got confused. Later he changed his story yo something else and blamed us. I strongly urge you not to pick this DJ for your wedding. He also charged $6000 for his service which is expensive. read more
